this game has promised a lot of stuff and most of it is on hold for some reason.. If i were a mod and noticed a decrease in the number of players i would hold more events like tourneys or bring in updates as much as possible like every month or 2. Anybody else think of ways to fix this game plus make moderators maybe actually try to get more players |
moderators ?!? |
like moderators can do anything about it :p |
change mods into adminns then |

lol, most mods have no experience in computer enginering, so it wouldn't help the game that much |
I think the best we can do is have faith in the game and not to leave first. Some donations would help too. |
Donations? I just saw 300 euros being donated ! |
There are plenty of donations coming into this server...rest assured. More would come too with some exciting changes.
Anyway, best way to get people into server is to advertise it. But the folks that run this thing must be either A. Really cheap, or B. Really inexperienced with marketing. |
lol i agree with that limustudotcom |
c. really lazy |
What about making one whining topic in off-game forum, call it "This game is so unfair to me" and make it a sticky one, so it will still be on the first page. Lock the whining somewhere instead of locking the topics over and over. :-) |
Wikipedia has a very popular article about free massive multiplayer online games. A wikipedia article referenced to this generalised article should bring a lot of new players; players who end up playing other online games because they have not heard of Lords of War and Money.

what are your sources? iv'e seen comments like this in treats like this, that are more than a year old. and nothing happened thus far.
and this isnt about whining. as you can see, there are serious problems with the number of players dimishing and how this can be stopped. because if the players go, the server dies. no community no game.
also it doesnt help to donate big amounts of money as a single player. at the moment this server doesnt seem as any more than a secondary income to the admins, and they have no interest to put further efford into this. while the russian server is their real project, and they leave the com server just running, because there is still some cash flowing. maybe they will start to wonder whats up, if the flow suddenly stopps and decide to take a look...
but the thing is, if the admins want their game running, they have to act for themselves. just waiting for more players to join, until there are enough, that this server is worth their attention wont work. they have to advertise, and to maintain the server and the game to keep it interesting. its just sad, because i love the game so far and i see so much potential. (especially since this is an international server and the international community should be much bigger over the time, than the russian). but it looks like the admins just lost interest in us :( |
the question is not how to bring more people in, imo. but how to keep them. i joined the game about half a year ago and i brought some friends, too. many other players will have similar experiences, so why doesnt the server grow, but is even getting smaller, if there are still constantly new players? |

How about you pulling out some money and donating? You haven't invested one Euro so until you have, you don't understand the thoughts of others who have spent hundreds on the game and want at least an active admin. You are an adult, come on you can do it. Donate to the game. |

Are you talking about a wikipedia topic for this? because I was wondering why the fact that there's none for lordswm either... there's so many players but then it turns out that none of them are wikipedia members? but then it's true I'm not either... |
hmm... is it that the new players quit imediatly after joining? or is because they each are brought to replace 100 quiting members... |
