I am quoting from the rules section
3.13.1. Additional characters are not allowed to loan, lend or borrow any game valuables.
3.13.2. Additional characters are not allowed to enchant or repair other players' items.
3.13.3. Additional characters are not allowed to transfer items for repairing or enchanting.
3.13.4. Additional characters are not allowed to take or give items for rent.
3.13.5. Additional characters are not allowed to buy avatars (even at the expense of the main character) or any other game services.
3.13.6. Additional characters are not allowed to buy, trade or exchange rare set artifacts and Thieves' Guild invitations(TGIs).
So my question is this :
Since I now have a 2nd character as a DE, I find it likely in the future that I will prefer to play with this one since everywhere I read, people tell how less tiring it is to advance a DE.
Is it possible to DECLARE at some point that this 2nd character becomes my main so that he will be able to enter TG and/or transfer items for enchantment ??
To clarify my intentions, my purpose isn't to CHEAT but to CHOOSE. Seeing as for the near future that neither of my characters will have ANY interaction with other players concerning renting/enchanting items or entering the TG as they are low lvl for the moment.
I know that we can change the faction at any moment we chose but there is a big cost when you have to rebuild as the other faction. So I am wondering if my above thoughts aren't in direct violation of the rules which forbid the use of 2 simultaneous advanced characters(=TG/enchanters/smiths) by the same person. | | yes it is allowed | one character is enough, believe me. why would you want to torture your self with multiple chars in TG?
still there is a loophole:
enter TG with your main character while it's your main. get to TG level 4. sell both TGIs, and then you can switch multi and main, and enter TG with your former multi, now main character. if find this rather pointless, but it's the only way. because you cannot trade or rent any TG items with multichars. TG items are TG arts and TGI.
keep in mind that if you want to switch your multi and main, you can do it only once, and your ex-main, cannot be your main character again.

Why was I fined?
A: Easy come – easy go. You only lost what you received. Anything received for no reason (no description) or "dirty" reasons (received from hacked chars for example) should be sent back or to Empire.

So basically it states that what I thought is doable but you're ex-main character will be blocked.
Of course, if I make the change early on,before acquiring any of those "After all it will have loans, repairs, etc. – all things not permitted for extrachars." then I can keep him as an extra without risk of being blocked.

Korzika, you are partially right about the torture part. But surely you agree that it is quite tiring and consuming to lvl up a necro at this game.
Sniff, I miss the necromancy skill where you get to keep ALL the skels you raise from your battles and not just a fixed amount dependind on your Faction Lvl. :) | and so the ex-main will be blocked, if sweeper actually cares anyway
well, i am hoping for that to happen for ages, but it seems that my ex-main will never be blocked

and in post 3, i gave the same answer i got from them when i asked them about this issue. so, lovecraft, if you are not sure (as i wasn't back then), you can ask members of help and reference clan. they are supposed to help when you cannot find a clear answer on forum. | OK, when the time comes I'll be sure to double-check with them first.
