four people wear hats.
there are two black and two white hats.
noone can see it's own hat
- person 1 can see persons 2 and 3
- person 2 can see person 3
- person 3 sees nobody
- nobody can see person 4
- person 4 can see nobody
who knows first which colour his OWN hat has?
i don't just want to hear the number. give me an explanation. i won't comment on numbers. |
3
cuz
- person 1 can see persons 2 and 3
- person 2 can see person 3 |
nope...
i won't tell if the number OR the explanation (or both) are wrong. |
This is based on a visual puzzle, normally set out differently. I am not sure if there is enough detail to work it out without making assumptions.
1 could know which colour hat he has on if 2 and 3 have the same colour hat on and he knows there are 2 of each.
If they are not wearing the same colour hat number 1 wont say anything, in which case number 2 knows that his hat is different to the one infront of him (3). In which case he knows which colour his hat is |
for MilesTeg: Correct! |
now a bit a lame one =)
you have three cups and ten pieces of sugar. what do you do to have a odd number of sugarpieces in each cup? all pieces must be used. |
heres an easy one
there are four groups of letters. Three of these are alike in some way, while one of them is different. find the one which is different.
E G H I
C E G I
R T V X
I K M O |
third has no vovels |
for Zarebrant:
10/3 |

below are 4 groups of numbers in which three follow a same rule and one doesnt which is it???
1) 82, 16
2) 63, 18
3) 54, 22
4) 46, 24
and tell me why |
or first doesnt always "miss" a letter for alphabeticaly order... |
for BrutalStrike:
well... you can't split sugarcubes... |
that was the real answer which i was counting on
but ur earlier answer was somewhat right |
for BrutalStrike:
and even if you could, you would get a fraction, not a natural, odd number...
try again =) |
