Dummy Matchup/Practice Matchup

AuthorDummy Matchup/Practice Matchup
Well, I have noticed lately that after setting up my troops I have to wait for the next hunt or fight in order to know how it works.

My idea is of a dummy fight/ practice fight option in which you can fight the monster of your choice. You set the number you want to face and other minor things. The nly thing is, you won't get any XP or SP. as it is just a practice matchup t be used just to test out the tweaks youve done with ur troop recruiting and character attributes.

OF course the question is, a lvl 1 be able to fight a monster like Titan? No ways!

It would be like in order to unlock higher lvl monsters for fight practice, you will have to lvl up yourself. And the same thing will go for the amount of monsters you can choose to fight. i.e. Atmost a lvl 1 can fight just 100 farmers for practice. lvl 2 = 200 and so on.

So hows the idea?
I thought hunts were made for that ;)
@2

yeah hunts surely r made for tht. But it wud be better if we wud not have to w8 for an hour to test or troop recruitment.

i love the idea, i have not yt fought giants or titans in a hunt and i would like to try it :)

and

it would be good if you have a hunt your not to sure about you can practise it
Nah, the reason that you don't get hunts one after the other is because it would overload the server.

Besides, why would you do real hunts if you could just "practice?" It would defeat the purpose of real hunts. (You don't need money to practice! You could do it forever! D: And if you would have too pay money...well, ok, then I'd let it happen-just to see people lose money for no reason. xD)
thumb down

you can practise while you are hunting. don't worry, you lost one, it will come back to you and you can practise until you win or you level up.

very good idea

you can practise while you are hunting
Yeah man, but while you are hunting, you are playing serious, losing druability for the arts and wait for the regeneration of the troops, etc

The dummy would be without losing durability, not wait for the troops regenerate

in practice u wud not get xp or anything. just a match for the sake of training. And as I said the monster to be selected will be decided upon the players lvl.

for example a lvl 1-3 player can fight at most tier 2 creatures for practice.

And it goes on liek this.
Great suggestion
I often want to try out some new recruitment
but than i need to have a hunt what isnt to easy
So its waiting

You could still do it forever and ignore real hunts. And besides, most people would abuse it. Just because you SAY it's training doesn't mean it WILL be used as training. Most people will still use it to copy hunts to see whether they can win it or not, and then do the hunt itself, which would defeat the purpose of hunting in the first place. Part of the game is risk-the risk to lose.

Besides, if you want to "try" a new strategy, you can always ask on the forums. Most strategies have already been tried out with other people.

Yah I do agree that the idea is not full proof.

I think I just stated the outline/baseline of some kind of idea.

Of course I don't run a game or so, so I don't know an 100% positive idea.

As always, you can make your own suggestions.

And I nvr said this is a 100% awesome idea. :)

What are you practicing for? Hunts? Caravans? Merc Quests? They all keep on repeating themselves. Sometimes I lose to the same hunt 3-4 times. The very nature of the game is repeating for you to practice on.

I say it again, this is not a full proof idea. I've just spent like 5 mins of my life thinking on it! xD!
