Is it ok to return the money back to the player ambushed if he or she requests for it? Just checking if it is illegal or something.

It's it acceptable practice. Nothing wrong.
You can opt not to return if you so desire. |
| u can return it nothing wrong with it especialy later u get X times more gold.then what victim looses X = thief guild lvl |
