This happened to me once, and I would like to clraify it.
When you get ambushed with no units, why does the AI(or something else) give you a monk?
Considering I'm a Barbarian, shouldn't I have gotten a troop from the Barbarian faction?

| Lets explain this as wondering monks who came to defence of a lonely traveler ambushed by a thief. Its monks, for all factions, all combat levels. Number of monks = combat level. |
| I like to explain it as Empire's (https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=9) monks patrolling the routes protecting lone travelers. |
