Authorcard hints
because i like a challenge im gonna let you all in on some things ive learned a the tavern.
1. my favourite little trick is if you hold a card the other player cant get it, so its a good idea to just hold onto those big cards.
2. there is a set winner each time, no matter what u have or how you play them you will lose, ive been in matches were my opponent gets all the good cards (somtimes if they are very bad you will defy the odds) yet still won.
3. dont use your cards that require alot of resources to early otherwise your left in the lurch.
there are more so if you wanna improve your card playing or just wanna shut me up and beat me pm me ill see what i can do...

ps this isnt boasting
1) It's a good tactic, but it won't work if you play with an Infinite Deck, remember that

2)There's always a luck factor, but strategy helps. Play mind games....

3)It depends. If playing a card that costs a lot can cripples your opponent early, then do it. If you can bring a production to rank 0 in the first turn but drain your own resource, then I think it's worth considering.
one deck, I thought it meant one deck for each player, so its one deck in total O_o ?
so its one deck in total O_o ? yep it's always like that, one deck in TOTAL for the 2 players.
takesister challenge me, u seem worthy and yes she is right i only play 1 deck so these hints are for 1 deck and great capital style of play
2)

ahh the old saving up 21 mana when your tower is just above 30 cause they think you have a dragons eye, but only end up destroying there own monastary
Play mind games....

oops wrote in the quote instead of under it
And what about the locations.
Each location got different things for the card game.
(beginners resources, tower limit etc )
Which location do you recommend for fast card games to level the gamblers guild fast
I'll challenge you!

PM on the way ;p
yes, keeping a important card can be a key to win.

but, i will realized some cards if they never appear. i know you are holding it and i will try to not let you play that card at a strategy timing OR i will hold some counter cards to against that :)
- whenever you control two or less mines, avoid spending your last minerals.
- There are very valuable cards, which should never be played without maximum impact. Best example is switch wall.
- Trash bad cards as early as you can afford it. This way the enemy may get them instead.

great capital.
takesister has defeated me, but in all honesty ive never seen such a 1 sided match i mean she got every good card pretty much, but im not making excuses, well played take i look foward to our rematch and will get my revenge

for 9, i accept.
ok shes done it again, but there wont be a 3rd
When both players use their brain properly, everything will be determined only by pure luck. It doesn't matter, how good you're in tactics or strategy - you'll hardly ever get even 60% of wins.

I think, there is place for skill, actually.
Especially in the early game, when the resources haven't been built up yet.

Use a strong card right away, or wait. Rush with attack cards so your opponent get panicked, or build up your wall and resources. Wait for a good card combination. Try to do direct tower damage (bypassing enemy wall).

There are many possibilities.
Of course, Huntress. I agree - for every game there should be a specific tactics. But your skill becomes useful only when you get the right card combinations. In long-term period every skilled player gets own balanced statistics of wins and defeats. It may be 50/50, 60/40, 40/60... But nevertheless it'll be rather close to 50%.

Yes.
And if someone has 55% and more wins record and played enough games (>150-200) that is the clear denomination that he has the skill.

And someone with 45% and less clearly doesn't have enough skill.

Let's take chess for example. Being the champion and the best player in the world doesn't imply automatically that you will win every game. The same is here :)

Games played: 313
Victories: 206
Defeats: 107

i'm at 66% of victories, but i could have won at least 10 of my lost games if i played better.
i think 70% or 75% of victories is possible if you are a good player.

50% victories is a very bad score, since you can win something like 10-15% of the games because your oppents goes AFK: 50% victories means 35% normal victories, 50% defeats, 15% victories by AFK, it's a weak score.

you need at least 60% victories (45% normal victories, 40% defeats, 15% victories by AFK) to consider yourself a litte bit "skilled" :p
Games played: 73
Victories: 47
Defeats: 26

Lol, im considered "skilled". But im definitely not.
