I don't think the two games will ever compete.
HoMM Kingdoms will have a player population several orders of magnitude higher than our game. Yet, that game will suck. It will be nothing like this one, rather like travian.
Bad things about HoMM Kingdoms:
- while you will be able to play it for free, you will be required to pay some 'membership fee' to get a full game experience
- 24/7 online presence will be required to be competitive
- there will be no real combats (no battlefield, no animation, no control over your units' actions), combats will be solved by a simple mathematical equation
My only fear is that if Ubisoft may ever want to get this site closed, it will be done in a second. Unfortunately the sheer existence of this game infringes just about every existing copyright law... |

The admins know about this. The admins are trying to drift this game slowly away from HoMM, but not to fast as to cause confusion. When HoMM kingdoms came out they change the name of our amazing game from HeroesWM to LordsWM. Now with the graphic update, out units look completely different from theirs. Admins are preparing for the day in court imho...... |
