Author | Gating Keeps Failing |
Hi, if you look at this battle:
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?warid=484780139
you will see that all of my imps failed to gate. Is this becase they are a low teir? Or is it becase I am a low level? | Your imps stack are too small. | So, the smaller the stack is, the more chance it has of failing to gate? | Right down there.

Stack size is a factor in the gated stack size, but once your original stacks reach a small enough size, then it turns into a gate 0 or gate only 1 unit.
If you wish to not fail, then use larger stacks. | it is both because you are low level in your faction and because you split the stack.
each unit in the stack has a % of chances for a successful gating, wich increase with the FSP.
This means that if you only have 1 imp in the stack, it will have 20% chances of successfully gate another creature (wich is not a lot), while if you have 5, they will have 100% chances of gating successfully 1 imp, and if you have 10, that will be 2x100%, that is 2 imps, and so on.
That is why a 6-imps stack could sometime gate 2 creatures (rarely), some others only 1 (most often). | 20%+4%*[Demon skill level]
This means to guarantee 100% gating, you should use stacks of at least 5 to gate. | ok, thanks. | closed by DemonicSlayer (2009-11-24 04:26:35) |
