Hey,
Following case: 2vs2 random GB. Lvl 11, 12, 7, 7 join. Are they distributed in (nearly) equal teams or can a 11, 12 vs. 7, 7 happen?
Some say "no, it's totally random", some say it could have been changed since update.
Does someone have a definite answer? | some say it could have been changed since update.

at the same time, a definite answer would make the concept of "randomness" quite pointless.. ;) | Thanks so far. Right, I could have done research in combat logs ;)

No, it only would be not too random random. ^^ | | It is random. I haven't done many GBs since the update, but sometimes it pairs the higher levels together. Other times it creates a more even split. | u will have complaints, if u join a multilevel random battle... its random, there is a possibility that the game deploys the teams unbalanced...
but i would also accept a balancing random update:) 12,12 vs 7,7 should be deployed 12,7 vs 12,7... if same lvl it should take the faction lvl, AP and diamond-upgrade measured...

in my opinion: its just stupid for a higher level player to join a battle like this... dozens of AFKs, little xp and faction point, waste of time... | | But anyway. I maybe it was just my case but when I was playing faction level 0 wizard, forced to join group fights I have won many times because random gave nnt000 on my side. But 5-10 group fights really isnt a statistic. | balanced would be nice.
Sometimes I have seen really, really, stacked fights.
