Author | Do u like the second blindfold tournament?? |
i really liked it.. allthough i agree 20 games was really tough and took something like 30 hours..but it encouraged ppl to play and to get to know the new arena, really nice, ty! |
AP to high... I didn't join it this time.. and i hope i will join it on the
'THIRD BLINDFOLD TOURNAMENT'
With my sacred ability...I won't tell ya |
I loved it came in top 10% of lvl 6 which means some incentive prize lots of exp and skill points lvled up both skill lvl and charecter lvl in on my 18th battle of tourny and fought 2 battles of lvl 7 before it was over 20 battles alot but needed in one like this for everyone to have a chance to get a decent score very hard and random the turn out a good challenge that I hope to face again soon and the skill points were just awsome I loved this tournament [Player banned by moderator Kotrin until 2009-12-11 21:33:45 // ...And learn some punctuation, too.] |
I like the tournament. Why? A lot of faction points... simple. |
I like it only for exp and fsp. I don't like too much "Everyone for oneself", because it may bring people to frutration, ansiety and hard whining about almost everything. Better a duel like, or a GB tournament. |
Good intentions...terrible results. Admins need to do better. |
I think admins should consider developing a simple group battles tournament that will be the favored type of all tournaments :-)
2 Simple rules and it is done:
-3 x 3 battles same level
-Same clan can't be opposite
Teams will be official and fun guaranteed ;-) |
I don't like a luck based combat. I'm waiting for more fair tourny. |
no,cos elf's always the 1 hu gt ganged n killed 1st |
With anything that isn't working as intended (there were a few people who wweren't exactly blindfolded)you need to find something that makes you happy.
For me, if there is a team up who has attacked me, I will choose 1 of the team, even if it isn't the best strategic play, and make sure I hurt that one as much as possible. By focusing on 1 player, another of the neutrals seeing a team up, and seeing what you are doing may use their spells and ranged troops to hit him as well.
If an obvious team has attacked 1 player, I will wait for the right opportunity (it will come up) and join in on the persecuted player's side. The element of surprise can make you stop the team. |
Danzi- correct 100% |
I thought the award would be this year. I probably made a mistake |

Except where the desire to punish people who stage battles. I think the format of the tournament is such that it is impossible to conclusively pull up anyone for staging a battle. There is no reason to believe that only clanmates will help someone. I could have friends outside my clan on my skype ;) |
I wish I could've enjoyed it... stupid Christmas exams... |
Too much teamplay not really all vs all. I wish there would be some reward for people who are brave and atk first and most likely die first . I hate those pussys standing in their walls (especially wizards) and dfending the crap out of the them. this can not be scence of the tournamernt |

Well with clanpeople its easy. But even with outclan Rl Friends its not too complicated.Of course it depends on your combat level but i guess from lvl8 upwards you need to be a very sociable guy to have so many RL Friends playing this game that you can stage enough battles without the same guys in them all the time. Because after the battle the names show up for everyone in plain sight. So if they are really staged then its not to hard to see that.

I liked it, i was lucky enough to not have run in many staged fights, and i liked the suspense off teaming up with a bunch of players u don't really know and never know if they will "hounour" your unspoken agreement. That was fun. Necro was much better then DE and when i changed i was able to have a few fun battles.
Some of the where depressing e.g. being attacked by 4 different ppl at the same time or so but, bad things happen.
And especially the FSP were great. |
I liked it but it is sad to see that some of best ranking players, were hiding till the end of the battles.
After that you get opinion that the coward won and not the best man.
If arena was round fights would be much more exciting, players could not hide, and everybody would be closer to fight. |

in another thread one of the moderators said...

maybe a little staff PR training is needed.

I didn't get affected too much by the staged battles, i had 2 battles and then read all the threads and decided to stop, but all the experience was awesome. i tried to get a couple battles the last few days of the tourny thinking that most of the people participating in these staged battles already reached their limit. but by then it was almost impossible to get into a game. looking back on it i should have just took my chances and jumped in whenever i could, experience is experience. either way looking forward to any event, even if its not the best, its something new. |
i don't like all the new blindfold and EFO way , it is made to kill the DE first , and to protect all ranged units . i didn't even played more then 3 battles, it is useless. |
Only thing I liked: the high faction skill points
then (dislike): staged battles, wizards definetely overpowered, knights and necro waiting in their corners doing nothing, too many AP to join, too many fights in a week, etc. etc.
I don't like to complain but this is not the best tournament one can think of ...
I hope for more survival and, who knows, something like 3vs3 with clans, arena fights (you in the middle and monsters coming from the "rooms") ...
still ... one of the best game I have ever played on-line ... keep on doing adm!!!! |
