| well, you are Thieves' guild: 5 (694) +146 which is quite hard, so you will have a hard time doing it as barbarian |

Maybe it's your low faction level combined with your high TG? Your win ratio seems normal to me when I did ambushes as a level 11 barbarian. |

I normally kept them in one stack when I was your level.
Then again, everyone's strategy is different, so I'd test out a few different splits in hunts so you can find which split fits you most comfortably. |
| @Thrax. Thieving it's always possible at any level. Sooner or later, you'll lose enough battles that it becomes possible to win. Looking at the factions you've been (Demon, DE and Wizard) they are all pretty good thieving factions. You being a lower faction level and barb being an adequate, but not great thieving faction, will mean you need lots of losses before you start winning. |

Is anyone having issues with the new Thief format???
Or am I just not simply thinking in the correct way to actually win one without spending zillions of gold since the new enchanting stuff!!!

| Out of DE,demon and barb which faction is better between levels 5-7?Can anyone show me any battles against demons and DE at these levels. |
| Demons are pretty good on 6-7 (especially with high faction skill), DE only played as caster (bad for hunting). Barbs are always ok :) |

Have you tried not splitting your wolf raiders? When I ambushed as a barb, I didn't split my raiders. My raiders and rocs charged straight in basically did / took all the damage. |

| Don't use wolf raiders for thieving. Against the computer, you get attacked so often, you want a good retaliation. Hobgoblins give better retal than wolves. Wolves size can also be a problem with getting them where you want. |
