Well i sure play alot of roulette. At time it's fun when u see the pattern and win, then sometimes u lost. But it's not a big deal, 1 advice i would give is, don't gamble unless you're prepare to lose it all.
It also sadden me to see some new players create account for roulette, i know how hard it is to make gold at low lvls. I've also know some players who bet a bit and stop because roulette is bad. Even the top players did some gambling, and now they stop completely. I don't think roulette are bad, it just some people are not able to control their emotion too well. But this is just a game, free to gamble, it's fake gold anyway. Play responsibly, that's all. |

| Stupid Idea , Roulette is here to have fun and enjoy , maybe u want to remove also a tavern ? or hunts ? so many players have decided to quit game becouse of impossible hunts (Kiaune ) so remove also hunts ^^ keep only enrolling that will be fascinating ^^ , everybody likes the feeling when roulette stops spinning your heart stops also ^^ |

As far as I know, this is the reason why is roulette dangerous and illegal except for special licenced places. Gambling is addictive and hurts society, I dont see why it shouldnt hurt an online one. |

Regarding the purpose of the topic, no new player will see hunts impossible so he wont leave the next day. Roulette is imposible at all levels.

The problem of gambling is that people bet with money that was meant for the purpose of keeping one and one's family alive and healthy. If you only gamble with money you can spare and under checked conditions there's nothing wrong with that even in reality.

Yep fusei. And in real life you lose your home, health insurance and become poor, miserable, stealing bum.
Only advantage of roulette addict here is that when he loses his gold, then arts, then he cant fight, enroll for 30 gold, begs, cheats, gets a penalty, quits and the character dies but the human behind the computer is sad, but alive and ok.
The point is that even when there are great differences in real and online community, some particular things like roulette have the same effect on both communities. |

But roulette is not the reason for this, roulette is a mere catalyst. People who start to beg and cheat will not only do so when losing everything to roulette, but whenever they feel themselves at a big enough disadvantage and this will always happen since there is always someone who simply plays his character better or has more real cash to burn.

You are right, Kotrin. It may filte weak-willed players around, but this ain't a casino game, you know. This is lordswm of war money. If roulette had any similarity to the game itself, maybe it was useful to filter them. But then again, that's not the point of the game.
This game is already hard enough for a begginer. He's not understanding simple conceptes that you're used too, like enrolling or troop recruiting. He's already too confused to play this game. And how is this game helping him? It's putting a roulette game inside so he has something to do while he's waiting for his troops to recover. No one he'll leave so soon! Just look at the people you invited. How many of them still play this game?
fusei, yes he might do that or he might not do anything because he won't spend another day to reach level 3-4 again, or if he does that, he does it before reading the rules and thinks it's a good ideea to get some of the old character arts or remaining gold/resources, if any. |
Don't remove roulette.
1. It's a filter: removing weak-willed players who won't have the patience when hunt become impossible at the end of a combat level to pass them end wait for a easier one. If you don't have the patience to just enroll to get buck the money you need...
2. Some like it.
3. When they loose (not if) maybe they will get the lesson: DON'T BET! EVER! (for real life not for this game)
Don't limit it from combat level 5.
If you loose all your money at level 1-2 or at level 3-4 (after building the castle for tier 3 creature), you don't need the money to go on (No AP requirement!)
If you loose it at level 5 and you can't meet AP requirement, especially weapon in right hand, you can only enroll and play in the tavern :( Wanna bet on how many will quit then?
