Bitmap or Vector

AuthorBitmap or Vector
Which one gives a better graphic performance in combat, Vector or Bitmap? I have a PC with a good configuration. So which one gives the highest quality?
Bitmap because it's smooth.
2:
actually vector is smooth :) so vector is IMHO better.
Difference is tiny.
Vector for performance, bitmap lags with multiple windows.
Learn to read.

Bitmap (Smooth imaging, exigent for operative memory.)
Vector (Sharp imaging, exigent for processor frequency.)
Don't assume I didn't read. It's from experience, my dearest.
I believe #5 replied to my post.
however, sometimes thinking is much more than reading (not everything writen is true ;) ).

I still claim vector graphic is smoother than bitman considering magnification of images.
The fact is simple - It lags and it does not work.
Know your facts before you post. Simple as that.
overclocker - not to you =)
to that guy in #5
@overclocker, I guess it depends on your definition of smooth/sharp.

@MiAlso, my message was for overclocker, not you.
So better is bitmap or vector??
for ExtraKilleR:
It's up to the individual to test and see what works best for her computer since the computer specs makes a difference as to which is better.
nobody except you can decide which type looks better in your eyes :} i can only tell you from my experience that when the server is lagged (usually during some event => many people in battle at the same time), vector animations seem to load faster than bitmap.

i have no idea why bitmap images are called this way. there are two type of images - vector and raster.
@overclocker

Let's think a little bit. You have an image in the two types of graphics: vector and bitmap. Let's say it's an image of a chicken head.
If it's vector type, when zooming you CLEARLY see the simple lines made geometricaly using math. But it it's a bitmap, when you zoom, you see EACH pixel having a different gradiation, unrelated mathematicaly to each other.
Now, the point is not viewing them zoomed, but unzoomed. Isn't it obvious that the bitmap one is smoother to the human eye?
@Georgia, raster is bitmap.
bitmap is a type of raster image. raster is called here bitmap.
I tried both, and cant really say i noticed a difference lol.
So according to u guys, which one would u prefer? Bitamp or Vector.
Vector
Thanks guys for the help.
