I have resigned from the clan position and made Slynky the clan leader. He is very well respected by clan members.
Rules regarding clan management are a bit unclear, but I will do my best to follow them. Quoting them:
3.27.1. Clan ownership can only be passed to another character either free of charge, or for the cost of its registration, i.e. 30,000 gold. In case of Military clan it can only be transferred free of charge after consulting the new candidate for leadership with the clan members. Such consulting must be held in the "Clans" section of the forum.
Warriors' Guild and Warriors' Guild Wrath leadership have been transmitted to Slynky free of charge (the interface does not allow leadership transfer of a clan with a positive balance anyway). For lack of any better explanation, clan treasury has been taken by the old leader (me) but I reserve the right to make a gift of equivalent value (not exceeding 30% of my wealth per month) to Slynky.
3.28. If the Military clan leader is replaced, any member of that clan can post a petition in "Clans" forum and require 100% compensation of all taxes and contributions paid to the clan, but no later than 7 days since the declaration about leadership redistribution. The previous leader is supposed to pay off. The member is supposed to present proof from his or her transfer log, as well as to explain the reason of his or her dissatisfaction with the new Leader's position. Shall the leader not dispose of the necessary gold sum or equivalent, he or she will be blocked for swindling.
Owing to rule 3.28, until July 24th, 2010, any Warriors' Guild Wrath member may ask for cancellation of his membership, and I'll send them back 16'000 (or any sum they can prove they paid for) using my own resources. Please post in this thread. Also send me a pm as well for faster processing.

| I have temporarily assumed leadership of WG and WGW. Silverhand has some real-life situations that are demanding his full time and effort and leaving little time to manage the clans. I will be leading the clan only until a suitable permanent leader can be identified. At that time, leadership change will be discussed in the clan thread per the rules and announced at least 7 days in advance. |

I just wanted to provide an update to everyone on a variety of issues that have been being worked on behind the scenes.
As of today, there have been no objections registered to my remaining as the permanent leader of the clans. I haven't necessarily been sitting idly awaiting the deadline for objections to pass, but I was holding off on a few things until such a time. The deadline has now passed, so you're all stuck with me ;-)
In my clan mail earlier this week, I noted several positions that would be filled. I'll give an update on each below.
Faction Mentors: Ranor and TigerClaw have volunteered to become Faction Mentors for Necromancers and Knights respectively. We still have openings for Mentors for Barbs, DE, Elves, Wizards, and Demons. To apply, please have a Faction Skill of at least 8 in the faction you wish to represent.
Generals: I have several applicants for General, but could use a few more. Generals will be selected and named within the next 3-5 days.
Clan Leadership Council: The council is currently comprised of: Kotrin, Nutella, Dizbe, MakMak, and Ranor. Invitations have been sent to several others. This group should be finalized by tomorrow.
Clan Treasurer: Nutella has applied and been accepted. She will be appointed to the position within a day or so.
Recruiter: Nutella has applied and been accepted and appointed. We still need a couple more dedicated recruiters. Please contect me if you are interested.
Clan Herald: No applicants have come forward
Event Planners: No applicants have come forward - We really need a couple people at least. Please let me know if your interested.
Much activity continues as positions are filled and people start diving into their new roles. I will send another update in a few days to keep everyone apprised of our progress.
