AuthorFeeling depressed, TGI's fault
Any advice and/or opinion welcome. Also on PM.
Thanks in advance.

I was saving gold to get a TGI. I almost did only hunts and MQ. I enrolled as much as I can. I was ready to pay also some real money to cover the amount.

First, you cannot hire a TGI any more. Ok. :(
Now, I thought I had saved enough gold to be able to cover the difference with real money and get one. But nooooooo. Price of TGI has gone up too far.

Somebody can give advice?

Shall I resign myself and do without? Is it simply I'm no good at LWM and stop? This great game is designed only for people able to enroll all day long? Only for those players who started earlier? Only for players able to afford it?

Maybe I should cheat with multi char, keep playing as long as I can (like the so many illegal transfers going around) and then get blocked and good bye to LWM?
(I know you cannot agree on forum with this last option)
There are more ways of earning gold besides enrolling.

And yes, there are people still alive without a TGI.
It may be forbidden to rent a TGI, but it's not forbidden to borrow money, so if you have some friends, who have some money, give it a try. The alternative involves 80 diamonds.
First, if the set you're wearing is your usual one, you should think about using an other one; I can't remember if min AP changes from lvl 8 to lvl 9, but mine is one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest:
reprisal sword, steel helmet and defender shield.

You can have a look here for more details:

I happened to buy TGI at lvl 8, with mini arts refund, and still had 100k left, without doing any enrolments without fighting... With patience, money will slowly raise.

Anyway, I don't find thieving that great; no matter you will do, you will loose often because of caravan's difficulty balance.
400 000 gold might look like a huuuuuuuuge pile of gold.
But if you are ever planning to change faction it will easily cost 250 000 - 300 000 gold for just one castle.
So you should choose, whats do you rather have?
A TGI so you can lose to a caravan once an hour?
Or 3 full castles at level 8/9 so you can switch factions once in a while.
(playing 3000+ battles with one faction might become boring....)
for: Sven91

well if u buy the tgi then u get it back and u sell it and u change faction
thats better or?
get it back
How?
once you use it, it disappears.
Reaching TG5 takes months, for most people it takes more than a year.
if you can afford it, i would highly recomend you to buy the TGI with diamonds and save the gold.
Thieving is an expensive activity, costing waaay more than just the entrance fee... and it becomes much easier if you have a good full art set, some enchantments and enough gold to repair/ rebuy arts.
Go ahead and cheat if playing with a TGI immediately is what you want--you'll be banned, someday.

If you care about the game, then don't cheat...and do it the slow, honest way. You can always buy+resell stuff on market, and at production facilities. You can work hard at your merc guild and sell all your elements. work hard on your hunter guild, and sell all your hunter arts.

Cheers,
LS
