What is weird is that they put something in the game w/o asking for feedback from the players first and w/o making any kind of announcements until after we already know what they did. I find the "new" system stupid, takes away all the challenge.Press the button monkey, repeat, gg. |
I think AI is smarter at ambush
Farmer hit my 1 ghost instead of hit my 24 ghost (sure hit to my 24 ghost) because the next turn is big stack of x-bow. then x-bow kill my 24 ghost.

if AI stack will be hardly hit by our stack's counter-attack or even killed, it would prefer to hit our weaker stack to remain alive after counter-attack. That's why, shooters shoot at the vamps, for example, but just walk away when vamps block them. |

Nope because 10 titans wouldnt attack 10 vamps with the new AI behaviour, although they could easily kill them and the counterattack is very weak.
To prover this i did a hunt.
Magi punch bowmen and griffins... good.
Out of mana and blocked, 1 magi with 2/18 hp left
They have the chance to attack:
1 recruit
3 recruits
49 swords
10 griffins
He attacks swords, which have highest defense, and hardest counterattack. |
The new AI tends to kill our potential retal takers with small stacks. Big stacks follow the old priority system |

Spawns go for tamed mino first..Never seen that before..most of them ataacked cav. tho and thats pretty normal,but my shrews were in range the whole time..the last stack of 2 spawns did go for the shrews to:) |

Played as necro in the Survival Tourney on RU:
23 and 53 merc warriors could strike my vamps only. 23 walked away to my other troops and 53 hit vamps.
Maybe I wrote my previous message not precisely what I meant. But if AI stack survives and preserves enough of its hp, it attacks. If not it seeks for a weaker unit. |
