Authorwhat happenned to the price of tgi
several month ago the price of a tgi is about 30k,now it is over 50k.what in the hell happenned to the market to drive this so crazy!
300k* 500k* Ans. TGI's are no longer able to be leased out, therefor you have to buy them to get one. Higher demand equals higher prices, to put it the short way.
The change in price is because of TG changes.

The fact that you can't rent is not as important as the fact that now new thieves only get 1 TGI at thieves guild level 5 to give out. Before each thief would get 2 TGI ( one at level 2 and one at level 4 ) so there were a lot more invitations around.
Therefore the question is it worth to get tgi? if i had the money i would save it on lots of full enchanted arts- unless i already had lots of these, then maybe ill give thieving a thought- 500k simply takes abit too long for me to wait to save money for it
Well at higher levels TG ambushes are by far the best kind of combat you can make. Each win gives 1 fsp and good exp and even losing can give an average of 0.5fsp after you have ambushed enough ( this means losing an ambush gives as much fsp as winning a hunt or MG quest ). And because of the way caravan difficulty works - you will never run out of things to do ( like in HG or quests which become very hard after a point ).
I start to agree with mega0impact. I'm enrolling for 2 months and i only play 1 or 2 fights in a day. I'm losing interest in the game... I'm discussing with myself what to do. I'm not even close to a TGI. And sometimes i have the feeling the price gets higher quicker than i can get money. Even with the 96 enrolls i had last week.
6: I would suggest that you focus on MG questing at this point. You can do most of the quests with minimum AP and by selling the elements you gain from the process you can also make a very nice profit. The money rewards from MG are poor but they are enough on average to cover the expenses you make on arts - so the element selling will give you enough.

Also don't forget that the money spent on TGI will come back to you with good bonus also eventually ( since you will get the TGI back at level 5 - but also every level you get the thief arts that you can use or sell ).

And not to mention the initiative bonus from TG levels which is vital for every faction.

thats a very looong investment and needs high level of commitment ;p it's just like a marriage i guess, lol..
yes TGI is worth it, without you always fall behind.
in the higherlevels, thieving players will be 9% faster than you, big advantage for them
And since most TGI sellers are people getting theirs under the old terms, I'm quite sure the price trend is not over.
I am not going to buy it for these prices. For normal player, who makes about 5 enrolls per day, it is work for half a year. Given the advantages it gives, it's even worse investment than the overpriced enchants :-D
i do not believe its work for half a year.. should forget about those full arts battles, and you get it very soon. if hadnt bought my arts and enchants if would be able to buy it, and im level 10 wit only 1300 enrolls
I also think that the TGI price is high.
And we also have to consider the full equipment that you need to do caravans. And the duration of an item is 70-80 that means after 70-80 battles you have to change it. (price of full equipment is 120k = maybe 70-80 battles)

In conclusion a lot of money.

Best regards,

full equipment that you need to do caravans
err... no sir.

If you do all your ambushes in full arts you ll reach a point where you win around 40% (xx% weaker if you lose and xx% stronger if you win)

If you all your ambushes in minimum arts, you will win 40% too eventually.
(since xx% weaker and xx% stronger stays the same, no matter which arts you use)
The only difference is the amount of exp you get and amount of fsp only for a very small bit (fsp is always 1 in case you win, so if you lose / fight againt players it may differ)

So why doing ambushes in full arts?
Only if you need some quick exp or have too much money and nothing to spend it on... I wouldnt advise it.
Yes... you can run to TG4 with full arts and enchantments now....
But its smarter to use the slow way with min arts, than at the time you reach TG4 you can happily continu to TG5 :)
in minimum arts i am not sure if you win 40% ..
as wizard i cannot beat some caravans and they dont get weaker.. probably at their minimum
Since this is a complaint on how "high" TGI prices have reached, let me bring up that they used to be over 600k. All the older players know this. Although they won't tell you that TGI is cheap, they will tell you it is worth it.
With the money you pay for the TGI and on the arts to raise the TG level, you can buy enough high initiative boosting arts for the rest of your (ingame) life.

i do not believe its work for half a year

It is ... don't believe it, just calculate it for LG5.

Quoted for truth. I've seen the first TGI on the market, and they were available for more than 600K each. And they have been bought, believe me. And since the game was only a few months old, I doubt many people were LG 6 or 7 like now.

TGI at 500K is more expensive than before, but it's still darn cheap. It's a diamond-feature available for game gold (=nothing). And once one gets to TG5 - takes time but anyone can eventually reach it - you can sell yours and recoup costs.

Anyway, this conversation is kinda pointless. Market prices are driven by supply and demand. If current prices are too expensive for you, so be it! Spend your money elsewhere and everyone will be happy ;)
for Kotrin:

Don't you think that it's unfair for the people who love MMORPG games to not be able to have as much fun as higher lvl players?

Also,I think they should have events that give out TGI so those greedy *BEEP* on Market don't have to sell them for .5 million.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
