Author | question about blacksmithing for other people |
what are the rules on performing blacksmith-tasks for other people?
for example, is it allowed to repair my friend's artifacts for free? does the 30% present-rule apply for services like these?
if not allowed for free, what is the minimum price i may set?
is there a protocol for receiving broken and returning repaired/enchanted artifacts?
don't want to break rules i overlooked.. :) |
I don't remember seeing any rules around regarding this and I've seen a couple of people repairing for free, but at lower smith levels. |
Although not explicitly mentioned, I would consider smithing services as part of "presents". Though for smithing just like hunting and thief arts are valued under current market prices. So even though a 10% repair costs 100% repair cost, it doesn't mean you are actually giving 100% repair cost to someone. Looking on the market a 10% repair is worth 0 to 10% of repair cost. |
ok, thanks for your thoughts! |
