I would not welcome yet more un-necessary buttons needing to be pressed and dont see this as a major problem
+1 to Kotrin's idea: I wish instead we would have the option to turn back where we came from (eventually with a timer moving the opposite direction; ie, if you realized 33 seconds later that you moved to a wrong location, it takes 33 seconds to get back to your original location). |
In most cases you don't loose the hunt because of one single miss-click during the actual fight.
A miss-click before it starts (going in under-geared or without army), or just clicking the wrong link, could be slightly more significant...
Yes, it can. Imagine going to hit a huge stack to take its retaliation off but misclicking. Then you would have to use other units to take its retaliation off, and that can hurt.
Also, I actually do not get why we have to confirm for mercenary fights. I think that we shouldn't them as well. |
for Anyone: that's why i said In most cases... |
You realize that in most cases, misclicks don't happen. So why do we need this idea? And if we need this, why not go the whole mile and apply it to everything? |
For the same reason you don't check to see if you have your wallet on you at every step you make. You do however when you go shopping. Even though, in most cases you have your wallet on you. |
No, actually, that is different. You check if you have your wallet BEFORE you go shopping, at home. The equivalent in this game is looking at your recruiting screen before a game.
That would be going shopping, and having people at the front of the store stopping to ask you whether you have your wallet EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Wouldn't that be a pain? So would this option. |
Your interpretation of equivalent real model. Just to ridicule because nobody asks you in (front of) the store weather you have your wallet with you.
Anyone, this talk is not constructive. You cast your vote, and so did I. Now, this is just a battle of wits that goes into absurd! and on public space. I've said all I had to say. Feel free to PM me if your store keeper asks you weather you have your wallet with you. Or ever did so... Or people in front of the store, or whoever you want... |

As many people already stated there is no need to ask for confirmation on every single little thing even if mis-clicks do happen. I mis-clicked on movements/attacks in battles. Should a confirmation pop-up for every action I do in each battle? |
Well , I just said during Travelling... As it waste our GOLD second. Anything can happen in a Second. |
-1. No need. Waste of time. End result, it wasts more time then travelling. I prefer Kotrin's idea, suggested numerous times. |
60% Accept , 40% Not.
Time is a piece of paper... :) |
Accidents happen, but that doesn't mean that a confirmation should be given in every action. It will be annoying as hell for an extra click when it is not necessary to do it.
Bassically, you need a confirmation if what you are going to do is potentially can bring unrecoverable or serious problem. I can't imagine what problem could happen when you travel other than wasting your time (or arts durability if you were being ambushed).
Let me give you an example of what should have a confirmation instead.
Go to Inventory. Do you notice that the "Transfer" and "Sell for" are very close ?? Once, I was going to TRANSFER my "3*8% Enchanted Sword of Might" to be repaired. But, unfortunately, I place the mouse cursor a little bit too low, and I click the "Sell for". And my enchanted sword just dissapeared :((
And that is the story of my first ever enchanted sword :) |
In the rules it should say "Pay attention to where you click. if you misclick, then you must live with the consequences. "
How complex is it to think and make sure your mouse is in the right place before clicking? |
@34:
Accidents happen, and that is human nature.
How complex is it to think and make sure your mouse is in the right place before clicking?
Sometimes.. unfortunately, it is not as simple as you say. A small problem with the mouse, and my example will happen.
If you ever learn about Usability, of course the developer should not place the "Transfer" and "Sell for" so close in the first time considering the potentially harmful effects. And it will takes only few minutes to place them properly.
As for the original idea about Yes or No button for traveling, I don't find that is necessary. |
for moki-, #11: Not everybody has gaming adjusted computing equipment, nor do I think this game is geared only towards those few who do. You can do other things with a computer, you know?...
i speak for myself; i don't want this change.. i want travelling time reduced not increased even if only by a tiny bit
it would stop scripts like greasemonkey from working also (though i don't use) |
I think its good an add in profile settings and u choise if u want it or not :P |
