AuthorCongratz to Mods
Congratulation and thank you for your efforts to make an improvement in Forum as in:

https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1879633

This is what I want so loong (<- this is allowed isn't it?) ago :) I appreciate the effort to socialize the rule before giving punishment.

If I may give you a suggestion, you might want to send the message to ALL clan leaders and ask them to send it through the clan mail system. Not all players are actively reading the forum, and they might miss the information.

By sending it through the clan mail system, I think you wil reach more players.
GRATS! :D:D
That's a nice piece of work. Great, but also sad, as it shows how common sense is lacking for some people.
I laughed loudly when reading it, but I understand you were forced to this...
gratzzz!!1!
Gratzingzing!

Hey! L O N G time no see!
Such a well thought out and clear rule. I am sure that this will go a long way towards tackling the real problems on our servers though I have to think it is just an attempt to justify the recent actions of Pang in deleting many threads which broke no rules.

Any topics/posts prior to 27 April will be moderated in a 'more polite' way. A private message may be sent to inform the players. At worst, the thread will be deleted, but no punishment will be given during this period.

Looks as if 6 different people will already be being sent private messages - 2 of them moderators?

Only time will tell if this will be implented fairly.
2 of them moderators?

One of them, me? Nope, only 2 redundant Z'z & the exclamation string is 4 chars long.
If you want to discuss it you are free to create a topic in GGF, but not here.
Congrats to this specification of the rules.

I think it will be enough to send it as clan mail to just one clan, because it seems to be very few that have constantly probed those limits.
Interesting. Let's think about the trail of logic here:

(A few) Players speak out and accuse mods of abusing power.
'Admin' opens a thread to talk about mod actions (then ignores it).
Players attack mods on said-thread because they 'punish for "made up rules" '
Mods make up new rule to appease community
Players are happy.

Nice =)

P.S. I am glad the mods have come together to decide this ruling. I am just making a verbal jab about the logic of certain players when the "abuse of the mods" fits their needs. I.e. any new ruling without the consent of the admins is in fact an abuse of their power, but they seem content here... [Please note my use of quotations and the satire of the situation].

P.P.S
I am sure that this will go a long way towards tackling the real problems on our servers

The Real problems? Really? This was the real problem in lwm? I disagree, but it seems like your comment was just another way to further poke and provoke moderators.

Some people just never let well enough alone I suppose.
maybe its a sing of them coming back for ANOTHER update and maybe clan wars and dwarfs!
pretty sure you meant *sign*

but yet again there's confusion within what an admin and a moderator is...
From the horse's mouth:
I am sure that this will go a long way towards tackling the real problems on our servers

That's frigging hilarious, considering time and energy you personally devoted in "solving" this "real problem" of our server. Perhaps you should have better prioritized your issues beforehand! =D
There is real problems in this server ?
I see none *covers eyes* :P

Grunge, I wonder something thot.

Are those who got banned intelligent enough to learn from their past mistake ?
Are they able to read rules and interpret them directly ?

Do they need to have everything explained and clearly stated like Sven91's 'new' rule ?

I dont think so, the world is full of different people but I dont think more the 1% doesnt have the possibility to think by themselves. Meaning that, when you get ban for something, and you get told that you have broke a rules, instead of whinning, searching for more trouble, take a deep breath, take a step back, look again at the rules when you have coolddown and think what you have done wrong to get ban.

It is not that hard, believe me.
Now for the congratulations.

Sven91, nice work in doing so, probably a lot more people will now understand what is EXACTLY the limit of Capitals Words, number of symbols or letters in a row and spaces that is rightfully available for them to right without being banned.

Thats totally throwing away Common Sense.
Topic moved from "Gratitudes and congratulations" to "General game forum".
