| Is it legal to 'give' a friend an account??I've been wondering whether its allowed or not.. |
Youre not allowed to share / trade accounts, so it is illegal.

There is practically no way to detect who is using the account.

there are also proxy servers ;} or the person could just claim he/she moved to a different place or changed internet provider. in short, there will always be a different ways to trick the rules but then achievements won't bring much rejoice. |
Even on a shared network the admins may just decide that all accounts are one person or the "activity checking utility" may show up something suspicious.
If there are also any other activities (like transfers) they do not like then there is a chance they will just decide to punish all.
but
Main point is it is illegal and you should not do it anyway whether they catch you or not. |
