| i have a good and strong necro and proper artifact along with +4 knowledge but i feel it difficult to defeat wizards and dark elves having +4 or +5 spell power. they do graet damage to me. what i should do?? |
no..
necromancer just need a lot of knowledge.. but a little bit of spell power is fine |
on your level, you do not need any spell power - necros are just weak against wizards on this level
necros only need spell power to raise big stacks at higher levels.
for this, at those levels you can take the dominion of life talent. |
| Unless you are using a mass poison build, spell power is not very useful for a necro. At lower levels, focus on knowledge for more raises. Fights against wizard or mage DE's are tough for necros at some levels. |
i would say it is all about how you gonna play your nerco
some nerco choose to go with dark spells. therefore, some Sp is always needed for spells.

Good point, Pang. I played a mass poison build for part of the mixed tournament and it was nice being able to hit an enemy with confusion or delay for 18 turns.
At lvl5 though, his build is probably as good as it can be. I'd suggest reading up in the necro thread, fatal_blow:
