3. upgraded tiers
4. Master Hunters License
Is that worth it?
Also it means, if you get blocked you loose the money you have put in the game |

If you play it just for fun, then it is not needed.
Without diamonds you cannot have those "Extra" privileges at many points of the game. |

In mu opinion, if anyone's gonna get Diamonds, the first thing one should invest in is a Thief Guild Invitation. It's by far the hardest item to obtain that can be bought by Diamonds. It will take literally thousands of hours of enrolling to have enough gold to buy a TGI through gold.
And once in the TG, you'll 'recoup' your investment with a TGI at TG5 which is probably gonna be valued at 800k-1 million by the time you get it. And in the process of getting to TG5, you will get 5 thief arts that's worth roughly 250,000-350,000 gold.
And did I mention about the bonus Initiative for your whole army for leveling up in the TG...?
As for the rest, well, tier upgrades would be yours eventually, regardless of how good or bad a player you are. Gold for daily fights can be earned through enrolling.
And as for Master Hunter License... ermm... total waste of money in my opinion. :) |

Till you reach TG 5 you would need to spend 5 months and invest over 2 million gold in arts. (You need to WIN 600 fights.)
So you just need to pay 80 Euros, spend 2 million gold and in round about five months you will get 1.05 till 1.35 million gold back. You will only lost 650k gold and 80 Euros.
This sounds like an great investment. You should work in a bank. :)

| I bought my gmaster at lvl 9 because lvl 9-10 was a long time for me, and I was very devoted to staying elf and playing the game. I was really glad a did it even when i got to lvl 10 because i didn't have to use my gold to do buy them, so i had money for arts instead ^^ |

And if you are really gonna go into details, then you forgot to factor in the gold one would win from successful ambushes. And more importantly, the one value that no gold or diamond can buy - the additional bonus Initiative, regardless of how one perceive it's relative importance. |

I did about 100 successful ambushes in the last week or so, and not even in full arts.
I would have way more TG wins if I had not stopped ambushing for about 2-3 months.

I put this roughly in the wining. Keep in mind that this are only a few gold. Esspecily at low level. I think it is 30-50 gold for each TG-point you have.

OMG! That would mean that you have won the first 700 ambushes in nine months and 3 weeks.
And what did your write in your char info?

Let's start a math round:
8 days for wining 20 ambushes. (TG2)
x days for wining 600 ambushes (TG5)
600/20*8=240 days
240 days = 8 months.
And you thought that this was fast. :D
It seems that you have forgotten how hard thiefing is. Maybe it is easy now (with the addional ini, enough money for good arts and so on), but for the average new player thiefing isn't the way to go to win money. :) |

IF you like this game, and IF you want to see this game stay online for more time...then you should donate.
Forget about the 'in game privilages' that others are focused on. Plain and simple, if you spend a lot of time on the server, you should do your part and donate--to keep it running.

thiefing isn't the way to go to win money. :)
But.. this thread ain't about winning or making gold, my friend. :p
It's about whether it's worth it to buy Diamonds. And if so, for what. :)
And just a side note, ALL battles consumes gold. So to equat any form of fighting in this game to losing gold and thus not 'worth' doing just go against the very nature of this game. |
