Enchanters who have reached level 4 in the enchanters' guild (7000 points) have obtained the necessary knowledge and expertise to install an additional, fifth, enchantment on any artifact. In order to make the fifth mod, exactly 10 of the new elements, fern flowers are needed in addition to the previously known elemental components. It is a bright red flower of unmatched beauty and it's very rare. It is obtainable from all the heroes of 5th rank in the Mercenaries' guild as a reward for completed tasks.
