me and bobcat54 have got exactly the same attack parameter... but why does he get 16-22 damage and i get 15-21?? |

For other faction attack increase damage for others Defence (for knights.) i don't know exactly but , i think if you change your main stats - example
+6 Attack
+4 Deff
Then i think u will do more damage.
But i'm not sure about that , u should ask Game moderators. |
The hero damage is exactly within the ranges mentioned when you CTRL+CLICK him in battle. It has nothing to do with the attack and defence of the hero or the stack that is targeted.
So far I have noticed that the ONLY thing that affects the damage the hero does, is the mutual faction level wich can reduce it by 3% per faction level. |

Heroes of different factions have different damage range. Higher attack stats will also increase the hero damage range. Actual hero damage output against enemy units can be reduced by faction levels, as stated in post 5.

I took a look at a mutual combat you two had.
In said combat, you both had the same values. You even had the same talents. You also both have the same faction skill levels (You for demon and he for barbarian).
The only visible difference between you is your races.
And still, your damage was 15-21, while bobcats was 16-22.
Although I'm not sure if the barbarian fighting-school adds any damage, there's something that makes bobcat do that one more damage. |

No art battle, all 4 of my primary parameters are higher/equal to the other necro's (I'm necro too), but my damage range is lower than his.

There are a couple of theories in my head, but just theories. One would be that you have more "knowledge" than "attack+def", and that lowers your maximum damage. My other theories are even more farfetched. ;) |

well i think the coding has the clause that attack= total skill points in attack / total skill points so that if a hero uses arts to make his attack say from 10 to 20 and the other hero has used 18 skill points in attack and gained 2 from arts then hero two will deal more damamge... i remember this rule was initially there when the game started... |
