| when you get pulled over by police for speeding, even if u know that you speeded you can get away without getting a fine. they don't have any proof that you have speeded. all you have to do is ask to see the radar with your speed recorded. if they don't have it, then they don't have any proof that you have speeded. if they do have it, then there is no proof that it is your speed. it may be somebody elses that they recorded earlier. so technically, you can get out of this situation :) |

lol.... he's right if you are a corporation with a nice team of lawyers. But instead of increasing your fine, the police can pat you down and search your car by citing your attitude as suspicious. And if you are really unlucky, they might strip search you down at the station. |

Drive smart, don't get pulled over. Here in California...everyone speeds, all the time--especially the police. Just know your 'local' laws...keep an eye out for the police (learn to drive and periodically look in rear view mirror for 'suspicious' police traits) and slow down when you see one by releasing the gas pedal--do not use breaks. Hitting the breaks is like saying "Please pull me over, Officer."
My tactic once mastered will guarantee you never get a ticket "From behind." However, there is no safe measure for flying past a police officer hiding behind a bridge, bushes, etc..the only ticket I've ever gotten was for going 96 MPH in a desolate road because a CHP was parked in the blackness of the night. I flew right past him and knew it was going to be a ticket.
