I think this quest is broken. Apparitions gain back a PERCENTAGE of their hitpoints when they attack, without a cap. Because of this and because they start out with so many hitpoints, they aren't killable- the quest can't be one. Fought one 3 times, all 3 times the apparition had max hitpoints at the end of the battle.

The trick would be to use up all the mana from the sprites and the druids before the apparition can hit them, or to not use those creatures at all. (Provided you're playing as an elf.)

| As mentioned earlier, apparitions have the ability 'mana drain' which allows them to cipher hp by stealing left over mana from your druids and sprites. The obvious solution would be not to bring sprites and only use your druids stoneskin to quickly rid themselves of their mana, however that would make the fight very hard. My recommendation would be to wait until you are a higher level, or switch faction. |

its not undefeatable... make 2 stacks of your druids or even 3... then first turn cast stone skin second turn cast stone skin with 2 stacks and the third stack has 1 mana drained will cast lightning... i suggest you either use fk or faries since your sprites cant harm them with spell but i suggest you wait for higher levels before you fight monsters especially this one....
