Author | shooter range? |
most of the shooters have a normal range of 6 for double damage, but how does this range of 6 blocks work across different rows and colums of the map...?
lets say i ve placed my shooters in one corner of the map. now horizontally and vertically, they ll deal double damage but how does this calculation go for diagonal blocks..? |
diagonal move is 1.5 movement points
you will get a better answer with diagrams i'm sure :) |
any link for reference..? |
c^2=a^2+b^2
that means that if you standin block (1.1) youll do full damage in 1.6, 2.5, 3.5, 4.4, 5.3, 6.2, 7.1 |
is there any art or talent or something to increase the range of a shooter..? |

where s is shooter f is full damage and l is longest range |

And if it is ever found on the .com server this one adds +2 to range --> https://www.lordswm.com/art_info.php?id=gm_abow |
apparently GH bow is only dropped at HG 7 and above which not many players have. It will drop eventually and will be worth lots of money when it does |
diagonal move is 1.5 movement points
This rule doesn't apply exactly here. For range, apparently the game uses the exact distance formula: if the distance from the middle of your square to the middle of your opponent's square is 6 or less, then you're within range. This means that there are a few more squares within range than if you use the 1.5-diagonal approximation. |
