good morning
this game should be a strategy and tactical game but ofte in have to guess if my unit comes at the right moment...
now my idea
you can scroll the ATB tabell 5 tiles to right and back
it would not cost much but has a big effect |
GIVE it to US please +1 |
i think it would be useful for alot of people +1 |

+1 plus another +1 for every time I've seen this plus another 10000 for the time I suggested this. |
i think this was already suggested a few times, if only Teh Higher-ups would notice this time...

+1 to the idea, but why would u need ATB bar to scroll back? >.> |
no, i mean if you scroll forwards you cannot see the first tile of the ATB
so if you want to see the first creature again you have to scroll(from the 5 tiles) back |

Yes, but improving game mechanics does not affect the challenge of the game. |

It obviously affects the challenge of the game. And what makes it "improving of game mechanics"? Just because you call it "improving"? I think it's the other way around.
The first thing to note is that: showing more of the ATB bar would not be relevant. The positions would be changing anyway depending on initiative, so what you would see too early, might not remain as you've seen it. There would be no point seeing it anyway.
What you'd probably get with this, would be many questions on the forum like "BUG BUG! the atb bar changed in my last hunt" or "I've seen my zombies before shrews but then they were after!!!"... |
#12 this is not true.. you would only see changes in placement on atb bar if something was done to alter a stacks initiative..
otherwise relative initiative will remain the same and placement will be static
surely? |
By improving game mechanics I mean improving th functionality of in game tools. There are numerous occasions in game where I have wished there was exactly this function. When I first started playing I actually searched for the slider on the ATB scale, as IMO it's a natural function to include. |

I wasn't aware that a stack's initiative could change just like that O.o
Perhaps i should give up rapid/delay and hope for this 'sudden' random initiative change in my next battle >.< |

It wont improve the game, though it wouldn't be to bad |

@ kanss and DarkSooth:
The only way to know which stack's turn is going to come after the current ones on ATB bar is by guessing. Now, if u consider guesswork as being 'challenging' there might not be a need for extending ATB bar ;)
But how can u make proper strategies and tactics if u don't know what your enemy's moves are going to be? O_o |

No it's not. In most cases you get big enough vision by the normal ATB-bar. All what it asks after that is just mathematic and remembering. |

i'm not good in both... but a computer is! that's probably what like most in computer games.
+1 (though it has been suggested many times before) |
