Hi
About this battle:
https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?lt=-1&warid=22596342
At the end, wiz raises his magis, wich still were under effect of poison for 1.1 turn; yet, they didn't suffer of it, while spell duration is determined by creatures ini.
Thus 1.1 turn means more than 1 magi's turn.
So, why didn't it work? Because of it, I've been very close to a defeat.
For those who are patient enough, wiz raises his magis a bit after liches death. | This is just a guess, but does Raise Dead-spell turn troops undead?
If so, undead-ability gives immunity to poison and it saved Magis. | Raise dead
(...) After being raised, the living stack becomes a walking dead with always neutral Morale, but does not acquire the properties of undead.
So, no, it doesn't gives them immunity. I also already experimented that some of my raised stack are still suffering from poison... | Perhaps it didn't work anymore because those turns had passed. Perhaps time runs with those spells, even if their targets are dead. | 1.1 turn was duration after raise ;) | The magis were all dead. If you raise a dead stack, that removes all spell effects. | Raise stacks poisonned by genies in hunts, you'll see they will die as soon as they have been raised :P |
