Hi. I created this forum after seeing the rise in TGI price.

Just 2hrs difference. He has done the same in the past. And he is not the only one who is doing it. So the rise in TGI price is not actually supply and demand but supply and (artificial + normal) demand . Now he again wants a TGI. lol... |
You do realize that there's only a 3% difference, right?
This is like buying an MH art for 1000 gold and then 2 hours later selling it for 1030 gold.

| After this transanction the price jumped to 9.5k and even 1 million in the market.Now it has lowered to 9.2L . This kind of supply/demand will result in huge rise.In percentage it is just 3 % , but it is a rise in 30K which is not a small figure . Also it will create an artificial demand ( it will actually look like buying 2 TGIs) which will result in rise of price. If there was no mid dealers(I don't know the correct word) then the price would have stayed within 9 L whereas now the price is 9.5 L even after a week passed. So the actual rise caused by it is 1.3 L . |

105 days have passed since I started and I have 939 enrollment points.About 9 per day. Also 90% of it is in production facilities .I am enrolling whenever I can.You can check it in some production facilities in great capital and silent hill. So I am not just worrying about it.I am also working hard for it.But even then TGI price is rising faster than what I earn. Thats why I am worried about it. And there may be a lot others too like me. |

When it raises so high that no1 buys it anymore, the prices will drop :)

One thing you can do to keep the price low is, when you have enough gold, don't buy from maggots, I mean, traders. Just keep checking and buy from original sellers only (check their transfer log). If traders want to control the market by buying low and selling high, let them choke on their purchases. They can't keep doing it because, 1) the cost is high, so they can't really hoard TGI's like they do elements, and 2) each TGI takes up an inventory slot, again, unlike elements.
If no one buys from traders, eventually they'll stop hoarding TGI's.
I feel for you. I'm glad I don't need a TGI. Personally, I like to see more low-level thiefs because I just think that that's better for the game (with thieving comes more play time, resulting in more players online, and also more thief artifacts). Unfortunately, there are too many greedy profiteers who have other ideas. |

i guess the first thief invitation must've been bought with diamonds?
at birth of server they wanted excess of tgi's -- so 2 per player to get them out there/available.. when there's a decent amount ie. they are not super-rare they cut down the amount to just 1 returned per player
it makes sense since the alternative is 2 tgi's per player eventually
problem now is if people don't make tg5 then net amount of tgi's shrinks

| ..but..you see my point..having 2 tgi's per thief would lead to more tgi's than players with time Yup.Thats why I left my old idea of bringing back the old system .TGI prices will eventually reach a point and may not increase from there, but it would be high enough to discourage people(the price now itself is discouraging) and it wouldn't be high enough for thieves to get at least some profit due to transanction tax.I hope admins would find a solution to it without resulting in a loss to new thieves. 3 months have passed since I joined here and I am still seeing only av 1000 online. |

Are you sure about this? You must keep in mind that we are also losing TGIs when people stop playing or got banned. If renting is allowed than this is also additional sources of banning (also because of people fail to repay in time) and people that stop playing. |
darkelf84 contacted me in hurry to get a TGI under market price. I refused after negociating a bit, but realized only later that he needed no TGI at all, since he's TG6.
So, since the beginning he was just seeking a TGI for someone else. At low price to resell for a profit.
Nothing illegal with that. But if I was Creeping_Death_, I'd be slightly upset, because he could have saved 30'000 gold by searching himself :D |

| Resellers exist in any game with an economy. If you care about it, at least in this game you can check transfer logs, and find out if a person is a reseller or not. If they are a reselling profiteering and that bugs you, just don't buy from them. |
