Author | do i must buy hob's |
what is good about hobs |
deal static damage because they got 2-2 damage, however, it's can be affected by attack and defense too,
hobs good to compare wolf, it's can't be blocked by it sized, it's deal really great damage at the first attack compare to wolf. always forgotten by newb bcoz it's thought as weak.
that's all, i guess 8D |
+ battle fury at level 6 gives them +50% damage.. |
hmm i never played barb at your level but i discovere today the wonders of hobs, my stack of 129 hobs, i can field 66 or 67 wolves (cant remember which) took down 34 lizard assailants in min AP 1 hit + theyre fun to use |
Remember that Goblins are more vulnerable for shooters/casters, they have less iniative, etc... Just choose which one you take, but don't do as some ''newbies'' do and take un-upgraded goblins, if you don't have money for them ;) |
take hobs over wolves, since wolves can be easily blocked.
hobs are thought to be less dangerous...in the beginning anyways.
dont take goblins, take wolves over goblins, but hobs over wolves imo...
ive seen lv5 use them quite well. |
They are not obligatory, but you should buy them if you wanna be better, otherwise stick to wolves. |
until you receive raiders, max hobs ;)
riders still better to block shooters also potential damage but they are large and unwieldy... |
your choice they are real good as more hp more def attack initiative and damage with just a little bit of enchanting and offense + battle fury talent those hobs can do wonders |
Hobs, because you can have so many of them, will do more damage than wolf riders when they hit, meaning the retal isn't as bad. Depending on what you hit, you can lose a moderate amount of wolves, meaning the second part of their double strike isnt that good.
I've also gone for hobs instead of wolf riders when dealing with casters. You get defense and vitality, and it adds 50% to their HPs. |
