Authorworkaholic penalty
hi, is there a way that you know when workaholic penalty starts??
it begina, 10 enrolls after last won battle
After 10 enrolls, but there is no counter.
If you try to enroll at the same place you enrolled last time, you will see the wage in red color as:
200*0.8 or
200*0.6 or
200*0.4 ...
(200 is just an wage example)
it doesn't have to be the same place you enrolled last time - it's in any place.
Why all the complicated answers? You are told clearly when you enroll "0.8 workaholic penalty imposed" when you have surpassed your enroll/battle ratio limit.

Maybe because it didn't answer the question? People want to know BEFORE when the workaholic penalty starts e.g. 3 more workshifts before the workaholic penalty starts. IMHO this dosn't exist.
Just after you enroll you can press back ( to go back to the facility )
if you see *0.8 in red, that means you have 1h left to lift the workaholic penalty :)

I've done that all the time :)

Or you may remember what number you have at your LG (when you have last workaholic penalty) and count 10 from that no.

Someone mentioned that once, that you have till the end of the shift to lift the penalty before being penalized. But I don't think that's true. See, right after you enroll, the money is deducted from the factory/mine. I know for a fact (I checked) that if you're under the penalty, less money is deducted, which means that the factory already decides how much to pay you. I don't think that at the end of the shift it can decide to pay you more due to the penalty being removed. What if it doesn't have enough money? We would have seen factories with negative balance if that were the case, unless the Empire steps in and pays the difference.

So when you see the red message, I think you're ALREADY penalized for the shift you enrolled in. So it is important to know BEFORE you see the red message.
The red message indicates penalty for your next enrollment and not the current one, i.e., the next time you click "Enroll".

I dont think so. let check my gold at server time 0830, if my gold increase to 342590, it mean if you see *0.8 in red, that means you have 1h left to lift the workaholic penalty :)
My current gold = 342590,
if you see *0.8 in red, that means you have 1h left to lift the workaholic penalty :)
is correct :)
So, I'm not sure what you're saying. Did you lift your penalty? Your current gold of 342590 means that you WERE penalized.
Geryon is wrong and I am right ... >.>
If you type the code, and there are NO red words or numbers at all in the facility, you get the full wage.
You click back and see some red numbers, that means the NEXT time you enroll, you ll get 20% less. So you have one hour to win a combat in order to enroll again with the full wage.
If you don't believe, fine by me. But don't flood this forum with confusion.
Test it for yourself first, and then post your results and tell me i was right.
The reason I noticed this is because one time, I was seemingly under no penalty, and this factory, with only 697 gold, let me enroll (my normal wage for this factory was 820). So I enrolled, leaving the factory with some gold left, and right after I did so, the .8 penalty red message appeared (and no I never get the .6 penalty message because I never let the penalty go that far).

However, this was a while back, so maybe they changed that to give people an early warning. But I do remember this very clearly, because I was scratching my head at the time.
You are both right, you're just missunderstanding each other.

The idea is simple:
When you look at a facility page, you're always looking as if you're trying to enroll, even if you can't at that time, so the wage is shown with the penalty (if any) as if you're trying to enroll, thus it is for the NEXT enroll, not for the actual. For some unkown reasons, the penalty in red is shown only at the facility you last enrolled.

And some commeting

1)If you type the code, and there are NO red words or numbers at all in the facility, you get the full wage.
Unless you're at another facility that will not show red words and numbers.

2)So you have one hour to win a combat in order to enroll again with the full wage.
You have one hour if you really want to enroll again in one hour. Otherwise, like if you're going to sleep, you can wake up in the morning, win a fight, then enroll. You'll still get the full wage even if you're win was after 9 hours.
All wrong. :) Actually, if you enroll, you then have until the workshift ends in order to lift the penalty. If you you battle AND win before the workshift ends, you get the full wage. How do I know? Check the following:

You are warned that your current enroll will be 80% effective unless you win a fight and lift the penalty. If you do by the time the shift ends and you get your wage, you get the full wage, otherwise you only collect 80%. -Arctic.
