| Let's put it simply. You pay some gold for something and when this something stops to exist you get the gold you had payed back. You won't get anything back since you never spent anything. |

Some time back wizards had to pay a lot of gold for getting mini-arts.
This feature was changed and admins gave back the gold.
Now, miniarts are FREE.
So you wont get any refund. |
Refund: You pay for mini-arts. You give mini-arts back and you get your gold back.
Did you pay for any mini-arts? No payment -> no refund. |

First you travel back in time, before the update.
Than you make a mini-artefact and pay money/resources for the mini-artefact.
Than you either wait or travel to this time.
Now if you dismantle the mini-artefact you'll get a refund.
Although one guy tried it and his account got deleted because of temporal cheating. |
Wow, this is going slow. So lets put it simple.
1.Mini-arts used to cost lots of gold. Someone bought them for 200k, someone for 1 milion.
2.Rules were changed, mini-arts became FREE.
3.So the admins decided to give a REFUND to all who bought them before the rules have changed.
It was never free gold. It was gold you used to buy something that became free later in the game. Really: REFUND is the key word here.. |

I'm not sure if you really don't understand or are being like this on purpose (there are people who do that)
But let me try to explain:
Right now, you go to create mini-arts, they are FREE, correct?
Well, before they weren't free, they cost money. Therefore, people PAID GOLD in order to create mini-arts. Some mini-arts cost TONS of money, which could add up to 200k!
But now, mini-arts are FREE. Therefore, what happens to all their money? WASTED? No, no way, people would complain. Therefore, the amount of money you spent on miniarts were REFUNDED such that no one would complain. If you spent x amount on miniarts, you were refunded x amount.
However, currently the miniarts are free. So, you were refunded, but only 0 gold - you paid nothing. To save space, this transfer isn't shown in your transfer log.
No money was gained/lost during this process. |
