Authorclarification of General rule 3.33.
3.33. The Administration considers it impossible to reach Thief Guild level 5 from the very beginning in a period of one month. Therefore, leasing Thief Guild invitations becomes forbidden since December, 01, 2009. Players caught in both dealing and acquiring TGis at any cost significantly different from the market prices will be fined severely.

What exactly does "significantly different from the market prices" mean?
Current market price is around 1.2 mil for a TGI. I know buying one for the old price of 300-400k would definitely be breaking this rule. But what about the price of just a few months ago, around 800k or so? Would that be against the rule? Can it be considered "significantly different"?
a small question
but what is TGI
and how can I use this thief invite and for what ?
@ Dracola: You're level 5 and you don't what a TGI is? Dude...

@ SwitchBlad: I looked it up, and I'm confused too. 'Cause that comes in direct contradiction to this one:

3.21. Any banking and bookmaker activities are prohibited without exception.
Banking activities - granting loans with interest, receiving money from other players on deposit accounts, pawn shop business, insurance operations or any other bank activities.
Leasing artifacts, Thief Guild Invitation and other non-monetary valuables is allowed.

Besides there're still TGIs available from the market for like #1 MILLION and above, so I can't make heads or tails of this.
significantly different is exactly what it means. It is a subjective determination of prices varying too much. And if you ask what "market price" means, same answer. Market price is a subjective determination of the current value. Since punishments are not handed out by a computer using a formula such as +/- 10% of average market lot prices, then it is up to the admins to interpret whether or not you have broken rule 3.33

for DraCola:
TGI is Thief Guild Invitation. It is used to enter Thief Guild. Once entered, you can engage in ambushes. For example:

for Aazad:
Rule 3.21 doesn't cover leasing artifacts. It only refers to banking activities, so nothing like mortages, stock market, investment returns, interest, etc.
Rule 3.33 bans TGI leasing.
But it can still be bought? And that makes sense to you?

Why not? TGI is pretty much an artifact with 1 durability. Rule 3.33 only bans leasing; not sale.

I sure hope so, else a lot of players are gonna be in trouble ;)

I was afraid of that. Another vaguely written rule...

It shouldn't be too difficult to avoid problems with this rule. Unless something fishy is going on, no one wants to pay extra and sellers don't want to sell too low (though I guess clanmates and others may give discounts; just keep those discounts reasonable).
