| Is recruits better than bowman? should i upgrade when im level 5 |
| recruits are better than bowmen...maybe in another timeline with diferent facts...it's not such a big difference when having them.It depends on your way of playing |
they are better anyway, because recruits are better in training than peasants. so even if you want to play with bowmen, you still need the upgrade, because that way you get more bowmen, than without the upgrade.
the post #2 is useless. some people prefer to play with recruits and do it quite well.
and there is a big difference to have them or not, if your knight faction skill level is above zero. |
You should definitely upgrade recruits despite whether they are better than bowman or not.
Because of knights special faction ability recruits lets you trade-off/increase higher tier troops. |

among all faction ..knight is the faction that depends most heavily on faction level..1 faction skill lvl might difference 4-6 troops
by building recruit u may increased your troop for many..but providing your faction skill high as well |

some faction might not need to build certain upgrade structure like wiz will skip gremlin engineer structure; elf could skip the sprite structure; DE could skip the poisoner or even mino solider structure.
but, knight have to build all to grab everything it can get. also, all upgrade structures are important for knight as well.
- with recruit, it give you more troops to trade off.
- with xbow, it give you killing machine in almost all non-pvp fight.
- with guardian, it give you a all-rounded super tank unit in almost all fights.
- with royal griffin, it give you battle dive and quick blocker.
- with cleric, it give you some holy cast to assist your fight; might-
built knight rely on it alot. |

Sprites aren't required, but they're definitely worth of all that money. And they're nice units in PvP too, at least on lv7. |
