I just purchased a ring of Inspiration in East Bay and cut and paste an enrollment code (in advance) with the intent of milking an enrolment.
My internet is fast, and the enrolment window appeared almost immediately. By the time I pasted my enrolment code and pressed enrol, the factory was out of funds.
Could you people who run Lords of War and Money do something about these cheating parasites that use economic scripts to automatically sell resources at factories when funds become available!
This has been going on for so long without action. It is a serious problem, and likewise was a serious problem on the Russian Server until action was taken there and all the script users were banned.
I am losing money in this game because of these cheating parasites. It is not just a case of these cheating parasites getting ahead by money laundering between accounts, they are making money by stealing from others or denying everyone else a level playing field.
Should I be entitled to compensation because these cheating parasites have created a situation where almost nobody else can profit by selling resources to factories or milking an enrollment?
Get your act together guys. This is a serious and ridiculous problem that has been going on for a long time.
This is not the first time I have been a victim of this type of problem. I also witness the rorting of these scripts every day I play that denies me resource sales. How much should honest players be expected to take?
I have 2 multies with nice big juicy slush funds. Should I offer one of them in exchange for the script and join the increasingly large group of cheaters . Who's gonna know!

Cheating is a term used regularly, and script using is cheating.
As to the nature of the cheating, these cheaters feed off the work of others, which makes these cheaters parasitic in nature. So ther term 'cheating parasites' is an accurate description, not an insult.

This is a serious topic on an issue I'm very annoyed about. Your comments are as productive as the transfers to/from your multis on the first page of your Transfer Log.

i share your frustrating. but, you can always enroll other facilities like mining.

The problem is that half the time the script users are faster than you buying something and pasting the code in. I'm sure that sometimes (<10%) another player may just happen to refresh or enter the facility at the moment right after you buy something and thus maybe able to sell something before you can paste that code in, but the chances of this happening should be rare.
I've bought nickel/steel up to 5-6 times in order to enroll sometimes. I also buy arts, but my inventory limits how much I can buy, while I can store several hundred nickel/steel. Many times I can't even buy an art just to sell my nickel/steel. |

I got to a mining facility, cut the code and once I've purchased the resource or artificat, paste in the enrol code. Even with that, in east bay especially, due to the great return on selling ood and ore, I don't always manage to enro. Those who say it isn't a problem are incorrect.
Hopefully it will be dealt with in the near future, but in the short term and maybe even long term (don't expect me to have special knowledge of action on script users), just work around it. Don't buy nickel unless the resource are full and thus no resources can be sold until someone enrols. |
