Author | newb help? winning first battle. |
I'm told i'll never win my first batle as an elf... is this true? sure seems like it... can someone help me, it seems everyone has way more troops than me... the best i can do is 11 faries and 10 forest keepers, or 14 forest keepers and 5 faries... |
Ahhah.
We all have this moment.
It just depends on how strong your troops are....some are better and faster than others.
Since you're new, a knight would be the ideal choice since you can protect your archers with farmers, and shoot with bowmen.
But here are a few battles with my Alternate character.
You can look over them to find more strategies.

Ahh yes.
and a little advice.
Try to have your troops able to reach enemy...by clicking ctrl + right click on a creature, you can see it's stats.
The speed states how many squares it can move.
Ex. a Rogue can move 7 spaces.
And remember, a diagnol space is 1.5 spaces.
So the rogue can go 7 spaces forward or 2 squares diagnol and 4 straight. |
awesome thanks :) |
IMO Elves aren't a good faction to start out with; at level one they're a pretty weak race. You should learn the ropes on an easier one and then switch to elves, or use an alt char.
Alternately, do only hunts on your early levels and then move on to duels when you get more troops. |
hey clemency, how did you attack something 2 spaces away with the forest keepers?
and thanks to both of you for your ideas :) |
