since 10-11 quests i havent received any element, b4 i used to get meteorite shards and toadstools quite often bt as my merc is developin the occurence of elements is decreasing.
it is i think 12 quests b4 i received a viper venom.....
i hear tht chances are 20% to receive an element but then how is this happenening to me? |
| nah its not 20%, after many caculations by Kotrin ( thank you :P ) and many others its actually lower.... |
| 20% doesnt mean every 5th quest gives an element. It evens out in a long run. Actually according to limustudotcom it is 20%. But there are black periods. |
| Assuming 20% is correct, no elements for 10 quests in a row isn't statistically low. The chance of such an outcome is 10% (this is assuming you don't pick and choose you unlucky streaks). |
| Simple maths. As long as the chance of you getting an element isn't 100%, you could do an indefinite number of quests without getting a single element drop. We don't know the exact chance of getting an element drop, and even if it was around 20% it's still not too strange for you not to not get an element for 12 quests in a row. Just bad luck :) |

So, actually you are complaining that you are getting to many elements? Since you did get more than 20% of the quest elements. What should we do? Punish you for being luck? |

| See my profile. I have been tracking my elements for a long time. My longest streak without getting one is over 40, but im still averaging about 20%. It works out in the long run. Be patient. |
