wats the point of joining at lvl 9 when the arts are for lvl 13???
You can sell it on the market for a good price. :D

Aside from still being able to sell the arts, by the time you reach CG 1 you might be close to level 13.

had to resort to such a stupid setup to win a 25% enhanced mirror image of my troops...... to win.. :p
just for fun . my first CG battle
me 2, i used only none upgraded units and start with as many as possible of the lowest tier. only way to win i think.

There are many ways. Enemy will anyways just rush with his troops, I won my mirror by killing it's shrews when they rushed and by mass poison which mirror couldn't use.
i know penguin, but as an elf they are quite smart, casting bless on the right moment, shooting the right opponents. i thought it was quit a difficult match.
Guild combats start once every 15 minutes, though a challenge can be created and joined during the first 12 minutes, whereas it can only be joined during the last 3. A challenge that has not been filled in full is dismissed and the combat does not take place.

What exactly does this mean? I saw a Duel set up, and there was this player (same lvl as me) waiting. But I don't see any 'Join' button or anything..

Yeah, at first I didn't understand it neither.

It works generally the way, that each team (each side of the battle) must create a challenge.

So in 3x3, 2 players create a 3x3 challenge, each for 3 players, and 4 players join them - 2 one side, 2 the other side.

In 2x2, 2 players create a 2x2 challenge, both for 2 players, and 2 players join them, ecah side one.

In duel, you create 1x1 challenge and you are there alone! Another player creates a 1x1 challenge too, and at the end it puts you both to duel.

I was trying to be as clear as possible.
By the way, that implies, that 2 or 3 players can decide to play together and join one side. Something like "optional" in GB.
So in 3x3, 2 players create a 3x3 challenge, each for 3 players, and 4 players join them - 2 one side, 2 the other side.

So are the teams random (sort by program), or we have to decide before hand who is on our team, and form a team of 2-3 first?
Random only if there are more than 2 sides in one type of combat. You don't have to form a team, just join one side, if possible, and if you see one team of 3 players in 3x3, just create the second team.

you probably wonder, they are not 6, but just 3, and why you can't join them. That's the point where you create another 3x3 challenge and then another players can see

So can u actually see who are the players/and what factions? If yes, the 2nd team would ahve any advantage, no? (Like barbs join when they see 1-3 Wizs)
i think the teams are random setup against others, meaning if there are only 2 teams then yes you know who you will battle.
but if there are more then 2 teams, you dont know which team your team will fight.
For creator of the challenge there is "hide names" option. If used, no names in that challenge can be seen by another players, just e.g. player(11).
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
