Heck, if it were even 100 Euros I'd probably buy one to support next year...but 500, and then 1,000...I think I'd feel guilty doing such a thing. If this site had the same amount of traffic as .ru, and a longer domain name contract...maybe that would change my mind...maybe...I wish you could earn one after donating 1,000 euros total haha. I'd be a lot closer to buying one then xD

I wish to express my thanks to the lordswm team for making my UCI possible. Most will probably have seen it by now and hopefully also like it:)
A short note concerning a question that was asked sometimes: You choose your own picture after which the avatar is modelled, you also can decide which moves (attack, cast, retreat, etc) it should make.
Special thanks to the artist, who made such a great piece of art out of my notes. |
There is a correction to make for post 1: the image is concealed when the nickname of the character is concealed too. That happens for example in Blindfold battles and tournaments, in TG combats (PVP only when the owner of this service is the ambusher), etc.
In those cases the character will still be represented by the standard faction avatar on the battlefield. |

Yep, think you are right. Maybe they should have an option. If the player provides the exact image(s) he wants without making any changes, then it's a lower price (maybe 100 Euros). If need to use LWM artist, then 500 Euros. |
75 It isnt just simple image like avatar u can put in personal info.
It must be animated and it has wide range of moves win/loose animations, several atack animations separate when u use magic or normal atacks, several animations when ur avatar is doing nothing + avatar on ini bar. |
for marked_one: does an artist win 500 euros for a UCI? I think there is a high price/effort ratio - but it's just my opinion, maybe it's harder than it looks.
I don't see anyone wishing to buy one.. and I don't imagine anyone wishing this after December :D. |

500 euros? How much is that in American doolars lol, not sure how much a euro is to a dollar now, but i assume worth more. Still... +- $500 is absurd for a UCI. I gaurante you will find more people will buy UCI's if you make it affordable...
I got a laugh though when i saw the price lol, just one more thing i wont have in my life that i wont regret :d |
| Anyone complaining about the price, you don't have to buy it. I really don't think you guys have an idea of the price of Original Art. Obviously they want to make a profit or there's no point in putting out UCIs, but I wouldn't be surprised if selling them for 100 Euros would be a net loss to the developers |
