Author | Morale boost bug? |
I would never imagine what morale can do, but seems rather bug than reality.
In ST dryads triggered morale and due to it they make double move. I think it is not possible, they had 14 ini, my shrews had 19,7 ini and they were just behind them on ATB bar. This flying bastards (faeries, sprites and now dryads) triggers often morale, but I have never seen any unit jump before 20 ini unit which is just behind.
So is it a bug or not written easter egg ability of dryads?:)
As the replay is not available yet and it is boring to watch till that wave, here you can check video: http://leteckaposta.cz/942456822 | It is possible that a jump can happen.
14 ini + morale means 28 ini.
If your 20 ini stack's turn ended at the exact same time as the 14 ini had their morale boost, then 28 ini - 20 ini = 8 ini ahead.
But obviously stack turns can't happen at the exact same time, but if the 20 ini stack's turn ended 0-8 ini before the 14 ini had their morale boost, then the 14 ini's next turn would jump before the 20 ini's turn. | Topic moved from "General game forum" to "Queries and help". | I dont think this topic was in wrong section. Im not asking anything, I just wanted to share with other players my biggest surprise I have ever met in more than 10.000 combats that I played:) | For comparison to see how likely this is:
14 ini stack
20 ini stack
The 20 ini stack's turn can happen up to 14 ini before the 14 ini's turn. As explained in the previous post if the 20 ini's turn ended anywhere up to 8 ini before 14 ini's turn, then the 14 ini can have a double turn with the morale boost. So if the 20 ini's turn ended 8-14 ini before the 14 ini's turn, then it would be impossible for the 14 ini to get a double turn even with morale boost.
Short version:
1-8 double turn
8-14 impossible double turn
This means the 14 ini stack has over 50% chance of having a double turn (if morale boosts) over 20 ini. | wow alexander admin actually read this =) |
