Hiya all,
After playing this game for more than 1 year, I'm actually puzzled about soemthing after going through some major grand updates.
It seems to me that the game developers either think that Knights are way overpowered (which I don't think so), or they really hate Knights ! haha..
Let's see some facts -
1st Grand Update
----------------
- While all other factions got overall troops increment of substantial amount (DE, for example, got something like 7-10 more shrews, a few more Lizs, depending on CL, etc..), Knights got like ZERO increment (?)
- While most other faction got cheaper talents, Knights got their talents increased (Eg: 8 needed to get Defense talents compared to 7 previously).
2nd Grand Update
----------------
While I hear that other factions got troops increment (again!) after the latest update, I got NONE, nada, zit. A big fat ZERO. Not even 1 recruit..
So this begs the question - Are knights REALLY so strong across all combat levels? And if not (which seems to bear out in most tourneys), why are the knights getting the shortest straw every time an update comes along?
We are slow, our armor are rusty, our swords are heavy, our helmets are a size too big, our farmers are fat, and most of us are not even good-looking!

| ..Oh, and did I mention that our caravans are also the strongest (with the biggest stacks) with the 2nd highest difficulty ratio (Wiz is the highest) compared to all other factions of the same CL..? |
Knights are very strong! (especially on higher levels)
Knights were in a way overpowered (talents were too cheap)!
I think recruiting count was not increased because of 'Training' ability of Knights allows anyway more units (maybe it was not balanced anymore) |
or they really hate Knights ! haha..
Our administration likes to dark magic. Everything else is cut and weaken |

as an example: Russian server, everything is done to enhance the magic of chaos. The rest is ignored or diminished |

That's just good, no1 uses Dark Magic. I haven't seen anyone using 4th level Dark Magic-spells in PvP... |

i dont think that
knights still have d most units on evry level
i have 40 shrews and i have seen knight havin 98 x-bows (with that aimed shot) |

...and we are not 7 different factions, but one great big 'happy' family under Empire.
Don't you want knights, your brother-in-arms, to be stronger when THE invaders finally come and try to invade our wonderful and peaceful land? :) |
Who told you knight are strong?
I fought a magic DE in mix tourney yesterday..his lightning can 1 hit KO my 4 cav..and i have talent barrier on and magic resistance eq..still 1 hit
I think its stupid developers keep weaken the knight status..especially when new TG map introduced..Knight become even more suck at thieving.. |

laughable... no players will smart enough to commit suicide by moving his unit into xbow aim shot range.
after all, xbow low initiative guarantee as a good target practice for other shooter. |

1st Grand Update
You forgot about this:
Knights' Escort damage reduced to 100% (was 150%);
Royal griffins damage through battledive reduced to 100% (was 150%).
Knights are CLASSICAL defendors (because of their armour etc.) This condition implies that ... 8 needed to get Defense talents compared to 7 previously ORLY?? 0_o Has the wheel been properly trued up? That's a question .
So give us a break! That's too much! |
