I need to know how to keep troops balanced.
I want to add to the Creative Works forum with a new idea, but am having trouble thinking of how they will affect combat while not affecting the larger picture of combat.
Basically, troops for all factions that can help, but not overkill. | There's no real way to create a balanced faction other than testing them in actual combat and then tweaking the details over time. There's a good reason why there are still so many complaints by players about the current factions.
Because of this it is difficult (if not impossible) to create a fully balanced faction from scratch. Your best bet is to study all the current factions and then modify the stats. For every stat that goes up, you have to do the reverse for a different area. | | 7.
