What the best gear for barbarian, for lvl 5, but for survivor tournament? I have some questions about some items. Here it goes.
Headgear - Chain helmet
Necklace - Medal of bravery +1 morale/Amulet of luck +1 luck ??? what's better for survivor tournament?
Armor - Hauberk
Cloaks - Imho I don't need any. Waste of money. What do you guys think?
Weapons (right hand) - Sword of retribution
Weapons/shields (left hand) - Dagger of vengeance +1 (2000g+2crystal)/ Defender shield +3 defense (2500g+5ore - I'd rather go for the shield)/Defender`s dagger +1 attack +1 defense (4000gold)/Heart of flowers +2 defense +1 initiative (5000g)
Footgear - Galoshes of battle +2 defense (2000g+3wood+3ore/
Shoes of aspiration (5000g+2wood+2ore+1every other resource)
Rings - Ring of inspiration +1 morale (4000g+1crystal+1gem)/
Ring of doubts +1 luck -2morale(5000g+2mercury/Ring of impetuosity +2initiative (4000g+5gems)
So guys here's the deal. Think if over what's best for barbarian lvl 5 survival tournament, and have in mind what's better for the money/durability. Does it pays off to get it for that high prize and similar stuff. And rly, what should I have more/most, luck/initiative/morale? If you wanna add sth which Is not mentioned in the list, feel free :) Thanks |
i play with barb on rus server now so i have some experience :)
Headgear - Chain helmet
Necklace - Medal of bravery +1 morale ( 1 luck is noneeded your orcs get a lot of atk from bloodlust)
Armor - Hauberk
Cloaks - Scout`s cape
Weapons (right hand) - Sword of retribution
Weapons/shields - i should go for the defender shield
Footgear - Galoshes of battle
Rings - Ring of inspiration +1 morale( so you get 4 morale + 1 from talents you get the max morale)
This is the strongest combination of arts i guess :P |

Remember that even a 5% decrease of ranged damage helps a lot against shooters, especially elves. |

it's just a little more aid in tournament :) anyway in tournament you must try to not let the shooters shoot :) |
| Well when they come from all sides, like on last survivor tour for lvl 3, I mean 25th tour, they came 14 sharpshooters each side. No way 2 pass that. And u say that those 5% range decrease it's good... ok. 10x guys. All I need now is cash! |
Waves are same on each attempt of any one tournament. When you play it for the first time, take notes, so next time you are prepared :) For example, putting some stacks at the gates the sharpshooters come from, so that they are immediately blocked - sounds like a really useful strat.
Also, people who participate in Surv. T. usually post the waves that come, you may plan the waves and your response to them in forehand even if you never witnessed them personally! For this, look for the related thread in Tournaments forum branch when the tournament is active. |
