Author | is luck means maximum dmg ? |
i know what is the luck effects but
does it mean the maximum dmg
forget about
Supports the 'Favoured enemy' racial ability
sorry for bad english |
luck doubles ur damage |
The 'Favoured enemy' racial ability doubles your current damage, same as the luck effect.
So if both are triggered: DMG*3=___ |
i know its make it double
but i mean if for example
the creture,s dmg is 3-5 will it be 5 ? |
no |
Having Luck triggered doesn't necessarily automatically means the stack deals the max damage range. |
The creature would do more because of your arts. It will be either 6, 8 or 10, i suppose, considering that: 3x2=6
4x2=8
5x2=10 |

can u give me an example of a calculation with the formula above ? |
prob of luck = ((Luck * 0.1)^(attacks without luck - attacks with luck*(Luck * 0.1)/(1-(luck * 0.1)))
example
with 1 luck on first attack
prob = =0.1^((1+0-0)*0.1/(1-0.1))
prob = 0.77426 OR 77.426% |
An example with the formula above?
I guess, it would be something like this:
Normally your orcs deal 3-4 damage.
That damage is influenced by their attack, and the targets defense. Let's say you have 35 orcs with an attack-value of 20. (And no talents, just to make it easy)
Their target, 36 shrews, has a defense-value of 10, and no barbarian FS.
Thusly, the damage-formula would look like this:
D=Rnd(3-4)*35*(1-0.03*0)*[1+0.05(20-10)] = Rnd(3-4)*35*1*1.5 = Rnd(3-4)*52.5
That means you deal a damage between 158 to 210. Now, with luck involved, you'd deal double damage. 315 to 420. |
luck damages is double the instant amount. For example your unit is doing 3-5 damages (regardless attack and defence) the average is 4. If luck befalls on this attack then the damages will 2 * 4 = 8 damages.
Elf are very dangerous when luck befall and critical too. #11 is explaining probs the luck will apply on 1 attack. |
