Is it possible to become the new top hunter if you got the same as the current holder, even though all three have the same score? Because my wizard had more troops left over than the current leader. |
u'll b the new top hunter if u beaten more monsters than them, and it is based on time nt amount of troops u still have |
You wont be the new TOP hunter. It doesn't depend on how much troops you have left. If you want to be the current TOP hunter, you must beat them by beating a higher amount of the creature. |
But you'll have to wait maybe months-years for them to allow a higher maximum number of the creature per level. And what if some1 beats you? do you lose your achievement? |

Wrong; you get more creatures only if you have higher knight faction level or higher combat level.
And what if some1 beats you? do you lose your achievement?
Of course. |
Err?
But you'll have to wait maybe months-years for them to allow a higher maximum number of the creature per level.
Every time you beat a certain creature, without killing any of your own troops, or have the creature kill any of it's own, the amount raises by 30% to the next time you face it, which can come any time. |
without killing any of your own troops
sounds misleading... i think what you mean is without losing?
as far as i know, as long as you win, the amount raises by 30% (no matter how "well" or "easily" that you won). |
sounds misleading... i think what you mean is without losing?
No, I meant without killing. You can actually kill your own troops with most races. |
No, I meant without killing. You can actually kill your own troops with most races.
Examples are through shot, earthen spikes, fireball etc.
But you'll have to wait maybe months-years for them to allow a higher maximum number of the creature per level.
There is NO LIMIT to the maximum amount of creatures you can face at a certain level. Once you meet it again, you will see that is has increased.
and it is based on time nt amount of troops u still have
Wrong. It is based NOTHING on time and the amount of troops you have. You can have 100% troop left while the other person has 1, you can have taken 1 min while the other person took 3h, and you WILL NOT beat that record. |
9.
EternalEclipse meant time when the record was set, not the time it took to fight.
It is true, the first one to kill an amount of creatures gets the better credit. |
If you want to break record, try to adjust the creature amount with using those formullas :
1) Alone : Next hunt Amount of Creature = Current Hunt amount X 1.3
2) Dual : Next hunt Amount of Creature = Current hunt amount X (1 + (30% * (% of creature killed)))
I use to math the amount needed to break records. |
for Patrickou:
That is not very accurate, plus you can have less than 30% increase by hunting alone if you gain less than 0.5 skill point.
In short, same formula applies to both 1 & 2. |
#12 : Exception for less than 30%
- Hunt lost so 0% more on the next hunt
- Killing part of our troops with fireball spell for example
- Creatures attack their own troops like dragon with breath.
But most of the time the #11 formullas are cute enough to math the amount of creatures needed.
If you know other way to have less i m listening and you are welcome. |

#14 of course it the official formulla, but with this way you cannot know the amount of unit to kill (before the hunt) when you need adjustment for hunt record.
This is why i use my formulla to know "Exactly" the amount to kill. I do it before starting the hunt and i ask assitance with very good and strong players. |
for Patrickou:
2) Dual : Next hunt Amount of Creature = Current hunt amount X (1 + (30% * (% of creature killed)))
This formula is wrong.
Actual formula: Next hunt Amount of Cr = Current hunt amount * 1.69 ^ (FSP received in the hunt).
Let's say you defeat 25% of all creatures in a hunt with assistance.
According to your formula, the next hunt would count Current*(1+0.3*0.25)=1.075 of current creatures.
But actually, it is Current*1.69^0.125=1.0677 of current creatures.
If you are OK with approximate calculations by your formula, there is no problem with that; however you should refrain from posting approximated formulas when replying as a Sage. |
@17
Hmm, every time I went for a record the "wrong" formula was right, so I guess the approximation was too close. Thanks for clearing this out ;) |
My formullas were just here to help new players, "young" players and of course adult math haters. I do not claim my formullas are the good ones but they just simply things.
Using my "approximative" formulla could help most of people to math simply the amount needed for the next hunt.
Anyway, thanks arctic for clearing this out. |
