AuthorNew Local Forum rules - Trade forums
There have been new rules published for each section of the Trade forums. They will take effect on December, 4th; until that time rule enforcement will be minimal.

Please familiarize yourself with the new rules. Regardless whether you are a dedicated trader or a one-time client, posting in Trade forums must now strictly obey the local rules together with the global forum rules.
For automatic renting, visit the Rent shop. https://www.lordswm.com/shop.php?rent=1

So rent shop is coming :) Thats good.

I don't know here, as I can't see any prices (maybe because my inventory is full?), but on .ru, the cost / battle is 40% higher when compared with standart use. One must really be in a hurry to accept such kind of prices...
So rent shop is coming, not here yet.
in fact, the most important point is the new local rules for this topic.

just dont get yourself into trouble later and yell that you dont know the new rules :)
Yay .. :) Thought that it had come .. :(

Yep, everyone is missing the main point. Go Ban them all. :)
5. If the objective of the thread is achieved, or the thread loses its topicality, it is recommended to write about it in the thread and lock it. There is no need to contact a moderator requesting a deletion.

3.2. Bumping any thread is allowed as often as once per hour. More frequent bumping will lead to bans of people guilty of violation.

how do these two mix together?
You bump your topic, after 20 minutes you get pm and someone wants to buy it.
You post that the item was sold and lock the topic, but thats 2 posts within 1 hour
In my haste to comply with the new rules and regulations on trade forums, I created a new thread in compliance with the new rules, while I already had the old (non-compliant) one on the first page (even though locked).

Later realized that I broke one of the new rules in the process of trying to abide by the rules... *knocking head on the wall*

3.1. It is forbidden to create threads that duplicate other threads, both locked and open, in the first page of the forum branch.

Non-intentional. Sorry about that.
They will take effect on December, 4th;
for Sven91's post #11:

I got this from Clan forum's local rules:-
6.1. Bumping the thread more than once in 24 hours. Bump is considered any post with the sole purpose of bringing the thread on top.

While this is from a different local rule set, however the definition of bumping is relevant here. Therefore, posting that your item is sold and then locking the topic is not considered as a bump. Just wanted to clear that up. =)

The point is that you're recommended but not obligated to inform that your thread has lost it's topicality.

So IF you're feeling tricky about that situation and you don't want to violate the 3.2 rule with extra posting feel free to simply lock the thread that has lost it's topicality.
Rule 6 has been clarified. Please take note that Offers like "I have SoM E10 for sale. PM for offers" is not acceptable in trade forums. If you are unsure about a price for your item, Market auction with 1g starting price and 3 days duration is your choice.
Just one question. If for example I have a thread exchanging an enchanted artifact for a fixed number of elements, resources or anything else that is stated, is it ok to also state that if the buyer doesn't have elements/resources to trade it's ok to pm for arrangements of a different way of payment?
Yes, it is. The purpose of that rule is just to make threads in the forum have at least somewhat of clear idea of what the seller wants.
OK. Thanks for clarification :)
I currently have a fairly succesful rent shop set up, https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1892686,

How will I be able to comply with the new rules and rent multiple items?
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
