Hi,
Has anyone an idea of the probability to ambush a player, instead of a caravan?
I made some fast calculations; on my last 5 log pages, out of 123 ambushes, 17 where players being ambushed.
Does 10 to 15% to ambush a player seems to be a good estimate?
That is, without trying to influence triggering probability in anyway; these have almost all been made at random times, beetween YL and GC. |

i ve tried ambushing from many places and of course the best place to ambush players is From Yellow Lake or to Yellow Lake because of the mercenarie Guild.
From Yellow lake i was like Pantheon, but from other place it s very low. |

then you can get 10 continuous and 16/18 (about 90%) chance in ambushing a player. :)

Location shouldn't really matter much. I wonder how you affected your ambush % on players.

Cause he obviously wasn't doing random ambushing :p

I wonder how much time you have to wait before to get a caravan...
On this route maybe for ages. Traveling between those 2 places has no sense so its really very rare to get caravan, only if some confused player travels there:) |

I also prefer caravans, but I fail to see how changing your ambush to that route would increase your caravan %. I see you increasing your ambush wait times. I already need up to 1.5 hours on the YL-GC route. Normally average wait time is over 30min, but recent weeks it has been under 30 min. |
| As far as I remember, the probability to get a player was announced 5%. Now, it depends on the size of the set on which that 5% has to be fulfilled and the time after this counter is reset if not fulfilled. |
